However, if I do a 13 frame move and they do a 10 frame jab, they will hit me first by one frame. If my opponent blocks an attack that is -15 they are guaranteed to hit me with a jab before I can block (punishable). That's the gist of it. DSP wants to do launchers which are generally slower than jabs all day so he gives up his "turn" all the time. His solution is to complain.

When Tekken first came out, a load of us were confused until we learnt that Tekken was not SF2 and that it was ALL ABOUT THE COMBOS, and that you had to learn the timings else you were screwed. This is what happens when you play only gimmicks all the way until red/purple ranks, and by then you have 0 fundamentals or strategy. You'd at least be able to tell if a hit's a low, a high, stance shifts and stuff, yet phil can't even tell a low from a mid-low string

I think he got lucky with gaining rank since he's played since launch, when people were still figuring out the game tbh.

Yeah DSP has been fighting against players that arent very good. Only a few players in purple ranks would actually challenge him.
Meanwhile I've seen Kazuyas wavedashing while doing electrics when I was back in Yellow ranks.

Maybe it's just me but I remember button mashing being referred to when someone would hit buttons at random because they have zero knowledge of how the characters or game works.
DSP getting hit with the same attack is just the opponent knowing that DSP has zero knowledge or response to that and is just an ez win. Idk if that's considered "button mashing"

When Tekken first came out, a load of us were confused until we learnt that Tekken was not SF2 and that it was ALL ABOUT THE COMBOS, and that you had to learn the timings else you were screwed. Phail has been a "pro fgc gamer for 16 years" and still doesn't understand how Tekken works 🤣

This is what happens when you play only gimmicks all the way until red/purple ranks, and by then you have 0 fundamentals or strategy. You'd at least be able to tell if a hit's a low, a high, stance shifts and stuff, yet phil can't even tell a low from a mid-low string
Also he goes "I sidestepped and it hit me anyway, it doesn't work" cause he steps the wrong way and doesn't see it, usually right hand/leg moves are sidestepped the other way and the left side the opposite, or which way does a move come out which is not mutually exclusive. He could at least TRY to improve and test things
