Hi Stephanie. Love your new outfit and your ideas to make it like a capsule. Here in New Zealand and Australia actually our Memorial Day is ANZAC day which is the end of April. We have services and lay wreaths.
These are beautiful makes. I love the green! The pieces are stunning! It looks like you bought the outfit in a boutique! I think you are right about the length of the jacket. I also like how you reduced the bulk in the skirt! Brilliant! Thanks for your videos. I look forward to watching every week! I love your barbecue area. Lovely! ❤❤❤
I agree with you on the length of the length of the sweater and with the skirt. I think they look right now. When it comes to your kitchen and they age of your home, I just love that. My kitchen needs to be updated, and back my whole house needs to be updated, but I am not a person that likes modern things and I feel cozier and older home,. So that being said, I’m sure your kitchen is cozy just the way it is right now.
Your whole outfit is the best ever! The color and fabrics are so pretty! Pretty rug and flowers! I think everything is growing better this year too! The blooms are more and everything growing so pretty! Congrats on your kitchen and please do paint your cabinets it makes a big difference!
Wow!! Your outdoor living space looks so inviting and cozy! Looks like a woodsy retreat or resort! If I didn’t live 2000 miles away, I’d come over! Lol 😆
Definitely the right call to shorten that jacket, it looks so good now, and the color is great! The sundress I'm making is very similar in design to the New Look T-shirt dress pattern you have, but I drafted it off a ready-to-wear dress that I thrifted. (I originally thrifted it for the fabric, then I tried it on and loved it!)
Loved the alterations to the jacket and skirt, definitely lifted everything. Someone has posted about shortening the tank top - which I also think is a good idea. You could have used some of the material that you cut off from the jacket to put panels in the sides of the tank top to give a little ease. Looking forward to your next makes! Love your garden and outside space, so lovely to sit in especially when you have guests.
Stephanie your outfit is gorgeous. You did a awesome job. Cant wait to see the new ones to come. Your green lush yard had me in awwwwww. I leave in the high desert in cali so seeing all that green made my day. Absolutely beautiful. God bless
That color green is just lovely on you! Love the skirt, too, and I think shortening the jacket was a good call. Your outdoor living space (we used to call it a yard 😁) is also lovely! I spent today weeding and there is still so, so much to do, and my yard isn't even that big - glad it's not bigger but I love it, love summer, love being able to go outside all the time. After I get the flowers and vegetables planted I hope to sew...but I guess I should clean the house first...because if I'm outside all day, the inside is falling apart!
Nice outfit I like the color. The other dress you’re working on is in my queue to do in a pink pique fabric. I didn’t even know what type of fabric I was buying until the man who was cutting it told me it was a great quality of fabric. I’m going to use a red trim. Happy sewing. Looking forward to seeing your dress.
I’m currently obsessed with sage green. You look amazing in it! I’m planning on making a pair of linen pants, wide leg in sage green. Maybe style arc Bobs.
Gee When Can I come for a BBQ.. everything looks so pretty.. Its not a long weekend in Canada... We had one last weekend.... Your outfit is so pretty.. I too love the colour Enjoy
I wondered last week, but will ask this week, what is the bottom width of your finished skirt? Your outfit looks lovely on you. Your garden area looks so welcoming. I think I will look, into the video on refreshing your grout.

Oooooo, my favorite shade of green. The top and jacket would look fabulous with white, skinny capris! ❤️

The green color you showed first is amazing on you.

Pique is pronounced pee-kay. It’s a great cotton.

I served in the Air Force.

Shorten the tank top and add slits on the sides and it won’t be so tight
