In 2013 an Iranian F-4 phantom was trying to intercept an American drone in international airspace and a F-22 was following him the entire time and when the F-4 armed its missile the F-22 radioed to the Iranian fighter and kindly asked him to disengage, the Iranian pilot had no idea he was there and bugged out without incident.
it was 2 f4s and 2 f22s. they followed the drone from a distance expecting the predator to be intercepted. once it was they moved in, underneath them. examined weapons then pulled up along side the f4s wing and radioed them, " you should go home".

the F-22 can outperform the f-35 in almost every aspect, except Air to ground. the F-35 was designed primarily to be an attack aircraft, but one that can defend itself decently, It was not made to excel in air to air. so most 4th to 5th gen aircraft can beat it in air to air combat.
The beating it part is false, if a 4th gen fighter gets close enough to get a lock the F-35 MAY be dead, but remember it’s still maneuverable, just to the same extent as an F-22. So it can still do normal evasion maneuvers. But in reality the F-35 is gonna get a lock and fire off an AIM-120 before the 4th gen knows it’s in a dogfight. The age of slow and tactical dogfighting is over, it’s all long distance dog fighting now
The biggest thing everyone overlooks with the F35 is it’s massive sensor suite and ability to launch missiles in a 360° circle around the aircraft. It would be a tough challenge for an F22 to take one down because the F35 doesn’t even need to get the nose on to fire.

for those who dont know, the f22 raptor wasnt in top gun except for in the very beginning when they are on the carrier and there is a brief showing of the f22. the enemy fighters towards the end of the movie are su-57 falons and as much as they look likethe f22, they lack the qualities becuase of the russian design put in to making them, not to mention they are so damn expensive to make that there are only 32 in the world and only 14 in service, they cost around 4.7 billion russian rubels to make one fighter and thats roughly 54.6 million us dollars. the su 57 may cause 4th generation fighters like the f-16 or f-18 to fail when put to maximum effort, but instantly falls short when compared to the f22 raptor or the f35 lightning II.
Seeing these for the first time in person at this year’s airshow at Selfridge Air National Guard was truly like no other plane what I could do and how it could maneuver it literally breaks the laws of physics for all planes we know.
We didn’t export because at the time the f-22 was so ahead of everything else we didn’t want anyone else to accidentally leak it’s specs to other countries. Where as by the time the f-35 came around there were other 5th gen fighters that could beat 4th gen fairly easily. So we wanted our Allies to have something that could compete with those planes.
Partly, but the f-22 also has many more advanced systems than the f-35. Plus it is constantly upgraded with the latest tech. The only way the F-35 is comparable is in BVR equipment.
Would absolutely love to see you have a crack at DCS World, Trev! It’s a bit tricky to pick up at first but you could certainly try some easier modules/aircraft and keep these types of videos coming! Loving this content and the facts/info you share in the videos. Cheers!

A few things: this had its first flight in 1997, not 1977. The F-22 is still in service. The US ordered far less than it originally intended, but the F-22 remains the absolute tip of the spear of the Air Force. If you need something done with as close to 100% success certainty as possible, you choose the F-22. Additionally, the K/D ratio is 0:0 because the F-22 has never seen actual combat (other than a Chinese spy balloon). You’ve conflated the F-22 with the F-15 (which did have its first flight in ‘77).
The F22 was actually originally designed in 1903. There was tough competition between this and the Wright Flyer. Ultimately the Boy Scouts of America ended up buying 11 at a cost of 120,000 fish tacos each.
A small correction that I would like to say is that the F-22 was not out in the 70's. It's actually a very new aircraft from the late 90's, it's first flight was only 24 years ago.

The F-22 Raptor DID NOT come out in the 1970’s. It’s first prototype flight was in 1997 for testing. It was introduced to the US Military for service in 2005. They were produced from 1996-2011 with an average $125,000,000-$137,000,000 price per unit.
I used to work right across the way from the Nevada air force base when Carvana was posted up there. Everyday we saw planes taking off everything from F-18's to A10's to what I believed was either an F-22 or an F-35. Yes having my eardrums blown in on a daily basis from pilots hitting their afterburner like 300 feet off a light pole and setting all our car alarms in the employee parking lot off but it was still cool
Fun fact: the f22 is more heat-seeking missile proof than any other plane due to how small the hole for the escaping thrust and the thrust vectoring doesn’t just make you maneuver faster but also kind of changes the percentage of actually hitting the plane.
Just heads up Trevor it felt in this episode you kept repeating yourself with comparing the 2 jets bit too much 😂😂😂 but still amazing videos keep them coming buddy !!
I knew a guy that worked at Lockheed Martin and he told my brother and I that they fired a missile at the wing and it just bounced off. Whether or not that actually happened who knows. Either way that jet is awesome.

for those who dont know, the f22 raptor wasnt in top gun except for in the very beginning when they are on the carrier and there is a brief showing of the f22. the enemy fighters towards the end of the movie are su-57 falons and as much as they look likethe f22, they lack the qualities becuase of the russian design put in to making them, not to mention they are so damn expensive to make that there are only 32 in the world and only 14 in service, they cost around 4.7 billion russian rubels to make one fighter and thats roughly 54.6 million us dollars. the su 57 may cause 4th generation fighters like the f-16 or f-18 to fail when put to maximum effort, but instantly falls short when compared to the f22 raptor or the f35 lightning II.
Lmao thats a F35 my guy not a F22 the F22 cant land on a carrier
I find f-22 raptor the sickest badass fighter plane of all time
what are you talking about? the F-22 first flight was in 1997 not the 70's haha it didnt even enter service till 2005
If you like the lines on the F-22, check out the YF-23 Black Widow ;)
Very excited to see the "rebirth" of the YF-23 in Japan
Downloaded this game because you started playing it again and ive been hooked lmao
Fun fact: the f22 raptor was designed to be aerodynamicly unstable so it couldnt fly straight but they added a fly-by-wire system so it could.
Seeing these for the first time in person at this year’s airshow at Selfridge Air National Guard was truly like no other plane what I could do and how it could maneuver it literally breaks the laws of physics for all planes we know.
First of all love the outfit bit PLZZZZZ PLAY HOUSE FIXER PET DLC! WE NEED A HOUSE FOR THE PET BABIES

Mid
I see them take off every day here in Hawaii. Beautiful aircraft.
After upgrades they are around 6-700M
love that your flying fighter jets. are russian su's and migs in the game?
if so i think you should fly those (specifically su57 su35 and the mig25)
Only the su57 and mig 29
they are in the but the only ones are the mig 15 and 29
Yes the su57 is in the game but its really bad and really low quality. It has like a 2 star rating
They will probably get removed due to the stupid us sanctions
Trev, this is a very good video! Keep up the good work! Cannot wait for SCS as well and more house flipper videos! Hello from Latvia.
Chad Latvian 🇱🇻 🇱🇻 🇱🇻 🇱🇻 🇱🇻 🇱🇻
Day five of asking for the SU 57
Would absolutely love to see you have a crack at DCS World, Trev!
It’s a bit tricky to pick up at first but you could certainly try some easier modules/aircraft and keep these types of videos coming!
Loving this content and the facts/info you share in the videos.
Cheers!
Su-57: Am i a joke to you?
Yes
Yes the SU57 is a joke it cant even Taxi without failing lmao
@@Aviator.Hunt2.0 F35B
A trash
@@RaulCM. it’s still a operational aircraft 💀
Your flight sim videos are one of my favourite series! Please give us as much as possible! A South Africa flight would be awesome sauce 👌
There’s a lot of incorrect statements 😂
These fighter jets in Microsoft Flight Simulator are so dope!!!! Great content Trev.
First
damn your fast
Respect
Technically he's not lol just look at where his comment is it's literally at the bottom of the comments not the top 😂
This one is crazy.. happy to see you at Nellis.. my dad use to work and fuel up those planes all the time when I was a kid.. its crazy to see them in the game but its crazier to see them in person
Why is it soo laggy and 10fps lol.. your a millionaire.. either buy a better computer or lower some settings as it makes the video u watchable. I have a 4090 and a nice built pc around 4000 and can run max everything on this game and maintain 70+ fps and have none of these glitchy issues. Guessing you also have a 4090 so you should figure out what you have messed up or something not working properly bud.
F-15C is the king with 100 wins and zero loses in air combat for nearly 50 years!!
And Russian SU-57 is alitlle better.
The SU-57 would win in a fight vs an F-35.
But vs an F-22 RAPTOR we don't know really who would win?
@@Chronicle_.corner-c9g an su57 wouldn’t even beat an f16, russias pilots aren’t that good nor trained. Secondly the su57 is nowhere near as good as an raptor or f35. It’s not even stealth.
@@RW-zn8vy I do not disagree. Your right but the Plane itshelf is better.
Russia has the best tech in the wide word.
But yes they are not trained goot.
Here in Greece we have the best pilots.

Trev is my favorite TH-camr by far
The F-22 Raptor DID NOT come out in the 1970’s. It’s first prototype flight was in 1997 for testing. It was introduced to the US Military for service in 2005. They were produced from 1996-2011 with an average $125,000,000-$137,000,000 price per unit.
That Lockheed F-22 Raptor is such a beast
The "lid" is called a canopy
Canopy. The word you're looking for is "canopy."
Still will get shot down by heat seakers
Trevor there’s the Orlando Air and Sea show in October that you should definitely look into attending. They are going to have the F22 this year
Man's really explained what an exhaust is😂. Love you Trev great series
LOVE these vids, if you can, you should do a video about the Eurofighter Typhoon
Eurofighter left the chat...
I know it's not stealth but it is really good at dogfighting
Been waiting for the video
The f 22 is the most beautiful yet deadly jet in the world
What’s hilarious is the F15 has been favoured over the F22 for years, it’s just a much more capable fighting machine with over 100 confirmed kills.
Just heads up Trevor it felt in this episode you kept repeating yourself with comparing the 2 jets bit too much 😂😂😂 but still amazing videos keep them coming buddy !!
Love this series and the facts. One minute I'm learning the history of the f-22 and next were flying through Los Santos and over del perro pier 😂
I knew a guy that worked at Lockheed Martin and he told my brother and I that they fired a missile at the wing and it just bounced off. Whether or not that actually happened who knows. Either way that jet is awesome.
Always start from parking. I loved it!
$1,000,000.00 question.
So, what would be more fun, a full blown sim rig flying MSFS with maxed out settings or flying RC planes in the real world?
WOW! The F-22 is a beast!
september 7th 1997 was the 1st flight for the F22 Raptor...come on man....
It was so fun watching this video. The cockpit looks different though.
The f- 22 is so epic and he should do the f- 16 keep up the good work you’re epic
F-22 Is the most Capable air to air fighter in the world ever build
First F22 flight was in '97 and the K/D of it is 1:0
its been shot down in a simulated fight by a Rafale but it was in a situation where it was already locked and they were attempting to see how well it could escape the lock. the Rafale was also being pushed to it's limits
A dogfight between the legendary F-15 and the F-22 would be INSANE to watch!
5:22 "look at that rear end." your wife might not like it 🤣
There are 197 22s out. Only three have been brought down only from user error. I am a former crew chief of the 22s. They are amazing.
