This video was super helpful. I just picked up my first short tail today at an expo and she was called a "black blood" by the breeder. Glad I know the true name now!

Awesome to see one of the local guys from my way get featured. Also if anyone deserves to be featured it's Matt. I've gotten stuff from him in the past and it's nothing but the best! Thanks Dav for this awesome Video!

I'll take all of them! My jaw hit the floor when I saw the orange heads on the Super Stripe Pos+ Het Ocelot followed by my top teeth when he opened the drawer of the Blue Ghost Borneo! Thanks Dav, this was an awesome video!!

I love the orange head on the borneos! I'm more of a spots than stripes person, but he's got some stunning stripes.
Also the albino blood is just wow. I love reds.

I love short tail Pythons. I have a Matrix T positive female blood and a Sumatran male The short tails have a wide body style because they are ground dwellers who wait for their prey and then ambush. Thank you for showing this amazing collection.

Very informative video. I have Blood Pythons and Sumatran Pythons. Thank you for showing all the fabulous morphs and projects for Short Tail Pythons. I had heard so much about Matt Minetola and his snakes from other breeders. Such a pleasure to meet him at last.

After Ball Pythons I bought an adolescent Matrix female Blood Python from a fabulous breeder . She was defensive and taught me how to treat her with bloody little bite corrections. Now she is my best snake companion. Good advice to start with a baby although I do not regret the way way i started with an older snake.

Really wished I could've stayed with it!

Absolutely amazing, beauuuuuutiful snakes, WOWWW!! Making me want to change my Midas keep the beautiful T+ 100%het Albino Red Blood python I got when I ordered him and a female that was sent to us prolapsed, and the "replacement" they sent had hundreds of its crawling out of EVERY opening, so both females died and now we just have this gorgeous male, and all three were EXTREMELY aggressive or defensive I guess I should say, so it changed my mind on want it right start with my first bloods. I absolutely LOVE the short tails, the black looking ones are amazing. You have some really BEAUTIFUL animals. 😍😍

great video. Especially for the breeders. Here's my dilemma, I have no idea what I have. I bought my first blood as an adult from an ad I saw in CL that read "adult blood python $65." I'm like..ok scam or dying snake? Went and checked it out. A little slender but nice looking blood/short tail. The owner wouldn't go near it. Me being me picked him right up. Dude was hiding behind a door. Mind you, I've never handled one before then. But I study and I go in confident. Turns out he came with a used rack the guy wanted for a BP project..the vocal hissing scared the life outta him. Wanted it gone and had no info on it. So I took it. I'm in a ton of snake/reptile groups..and I get mixed opinions. Weird head shape for a Sumatran, wrong color for a Borneo, scale pattern doesn't match up so Hybrid..then a handful of people say wild style red blood. Wish I could post a pic so I could get an solid opinion. Not for breeding purposes..but for my own sanity. Light brown..darker brown..black...white and grey belly scales, solid black tail. A stripe covering a third of the snake..right on his spine. Then the stripe breaks off into like a chain link style. Hard to describe.
