When I did my water pump it took me 2 days. I’m watching you start early in the morning and late into the evening. I’m glad you had help. Thanks for the video.
You really saved my life, no one had this to show but you and I thank you for that, started at 5 n ended at 10, thought it would take a day thank you!!!!!!!
I had ran into some issues so it took me 1.5 days but without any issues and starting at a good time I’d say it’s a 2-4hr job depending on your familiarity with it! Good luck! Thanks for watching and the comment!
Thanks for watching and the comment! It definitely wasn’t easy and I know there’s a tool that makes it way easier. But I did manage to get it off with my wrench and robogrips, unfortunately didn’t catch it on camera.
@@hcoyhis same method, with the wrench and the robogrips, been about 18k miles since this job and I haven’t had any issues with the fan or any other parts replaced in this video, but it definitely wasn’t easy to get it on. The fan blades make it hard to get the robo grips in to tighten the fan on.
@torrer2013 but the wrench wants to undo the pulley bolts. I put the belt on and put a crescent wrench on the clutch h nut and smacked it with a hammer. Hopefully that'll be tight enough

Hate those stock claps! That’s one big radiator!

@@torrer2013 how'd you go about tightening the fan clutch onto the pump shaft?

@torrer2013 super helpful video by the way. I'm now sitting in my grandma's truck with a new water pump and thermostat housing in it.

This isn't very instructional at all
