Hi again! So like with Ronaldinho's video, I'm going to try to explain some other things in order to put in scope what Messi really does. Before that though, answering your question: no, footballers do not need to be shorter. You will normally find shorter players in "speed" positions as wingers or left/right backs and higher players in defensive roles. With that said, any footballer can play anywhere if their quality, speed, stability or comprehension of the game is correct. 1. Messi's position has changed along the years (just like Cristiano's). He began as a winger (in most of the vids where he is wearing the 32 or 19 shirt you'll see him begin from the right side of the pitch) and as a winger he was one of the most amazing dribblers football has ever seen. He has goals dribbling 6 players as if he didn't even care how many he had between him and the goal. As years passed, he moved from the wing to the center, to a much more "passing" position than before. 2. Messi and Cristiano have fought for who was the best football player, but reality is that Messi is consistently the player with mosth accuracy, most assists, most dribbles completed and most goals. This last part is the important one, because Cristiano's role has evolved into a "killer" or purely a scorer, while Messi has evolved maybe inthe the most determining player you could have in a pitch. He does practically everything alright (he doesn't defend at all, though). 3. Just as a fun fact: players tend to be always running, jogging or trying to be involved in the game; not the case with him. He is capable of seeing and understanding if the situation requires him to get his position lower in the pitch, if he doesn't need -or there is no point in he doing so- to run... he understands the game at a higher level than anyone else has ever done. PS: You should react to 2009-2011 FCBarcelona. Arguably the best team in football history (the only one capable of winning every single title they disputed in Europe, 2009). Amazing job as always!

I watch messi videos quite often and I really liked this video because it was more focused on his strength, his balance, you also spared notions such as proprioception or tissue tension, it was really interesting, keep going!
Messi had health complications growing up, and Barcelona fronted the bill to have him move to Spain and play for them. He is not a showboat at all - he just tries his best. It's why it is so easy to love watching him play. Your comment on Ronaldo "knowing he is great" is spot on. Messi had to overcome a lot to get to where he is as the greatest of all time, but people still put him down because his home country hasn't won a world cup and he won't leave the team that paid his medical bills as a child - whereas Ronaldo has swapped teams to play in more leagues. There is a definite divide among fan base between Ronaldo and Messi, as they used to be on rival teams.
Messi is the most naturally gifted footballer, Ronaldo is naturally talented but worked himself into the conversation. Luckily got to see them both their whole careers and even got to see Ronaldo live at the Bernebeu. I can die happy.
I this he’s 5’7 and yes most people generally like Messi a lot In the 2021 Copa America Argentina was playing Brazil in the final in Brazil and a large portion of Brazilians wanted Messi to win because they respect and admire what he’s done for the game of football.
Don’t ever feel sorry for being unfamiliar with something. I find your level of “virginity” refreshing. You notice things seasoned veterans doesn’t ... things they take for granted amazes you. That’s remembering why we started playing football as kids. Because it was fun!
I like the way you analize his game. It's interesting to see you applying your fitness coaching knowledge on Messi. He's one of the best if not the best goal scorer in history so I would try to watch a video that shows this part of his game. He doesn't have any gym videos, but I do remember a quick clip of him training at home during the pandemic and he does these super quick and jerky sit ups, which kind of explains how he can shake so quick during games to throw defenders the wrong way.
and don't ever... ever forget to watch Barcelona vs Liverpool (3-0) highlights..watch that freekick..and you should do a video about that particular freekick alone..
This video shows a little bit of all the things Messi can do. But this guy is arguably the best in football history you should keep watching videos of him
What makes messi even more amazing is that his growth was hindered due to a medical condition at a young age and still managed to become a world class player and definitely one of the best of this generation. i don’t like debating ronaldo and messi cause what they’ve done as individuals, entire teams couldnt accomplish. Definitely a GOAT
Thing that makes Messi and Ronaldo so great is they came into great teams at such a young age and got to experience some of the best players right in front of them and they learnt from that. Ronaldo had Van Nilsterooy, Ryan Giggs, Fedinand, Paul Scholes. Messi had Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Xavi and Iniesta. Even in terms of mentality, ronaldo had that bully mentality, learnt from the above mentioned players, that grind out and get a result get it done mindset due to the physicallity of the Premier league, even that no nonsense attitude from Ferdinand. Messi has a more humble approach, doesnt often get upset ether they won or lose, he's greatful to express himself, make beautiful passes and he loves scoring. That's learnt from players older than you when you're 18 coming into a team of stars, their qualities rub off on you. Ronaldinho showed him there's nothing wrong with dribbling and beating players game in game out. If Ronaldo went to let's say Liverpool at that age he would've been a much different player overall, same with Messi if he went to Real Madrid or went to the Premier league for Arsenal for example. I'm grateful for Ronaldinho's Barcelona and That Manchester United team that won the 1999 champions league. They were intrical in the development of in my opinion the 2 greatest players of all time
Lionel messi is the greatest futbol player of all time. At his prime he was beyond elite on every aspect of the game. And owns every record here is for a single player to get.
As some other people wrote, there are some short players like Iniesta with an excellent skills for controlling the ball and the pace of the game [ they would be Little giants.. : ) ] In terms of driving the ball in the field, an Argentina legend called Alfredo Di Estefano said this quote that can reflect the style of Messi: "The ball is made of leather, that comes from the cows, the cows eat grass, so, play with the ball in the grass" And well, the movement through the legs certainly is very humiliating.. if in a playtime of a school you hear a " woooo"..probably is because some kid made this to another during a game..xd

Amazing react. Messi is truly a genius.
Messi barely shows off. He's very humble and just wants to play the game
I like what you said because ' HE IS FOOTBALL! ' . The Best!
The most complete footballer to ever grace the game.
Complete ? I don’t think so
Thanks for considering it as football
"Footballers Footballer " One of best definitions to Messi
This. This here is the greatest footballer of all time and this video doesn’t even do him justice.
Well, you talking about the nr1, not only by the beautiful fútbol he plays, but numbers and records as well. The GOAT 🐐
React to lionel messi the goat
plz do it
Guys Lionel Messi the Lion is so good
You can't be as good as him when it comes to changing direction with training, the guy is just born with it
React to Zlatan
And dont forget his 500.th goal!!
Passion + raw skill 👏🙌
soccer reactions!!! pog
Messi is the most naturally gifted footballer, Ronaldo is naturally talented but worked himself into the conversation. Luckily got to see them both their whole careers and even got to see Ronaldo live at the Bernebeu. I can die happy.
ur reaction is every soccer fans reaction, you realy know your craft
Soccer is actually a British word for football so perfectly fine to use. Derived from asSOCiation Football to differentiate from Rugby football
That's a great bit of information David!
seen others say this, react to some ibrahimovic
I this he’s 5’7 and yes most people generally like Messi a lot
In the 2021 Copa America
Argentina was playing Brazil in the final in Brazil and a large portion of Brazilians wanted Messi to win because they respect and admire what he’s done for the game of football.
Tq for your reaction mate.
Messi is not only an animal--the best. He's also humble, and he entertains when he plays. I love watching him play. No, he's 5'7".
He's actually 5'7
"A footballer's FOOTBALLER" 👍🏼
and don't ever... ever forget to watch Barcelona vs Liverpool (3-0) highlights..watch that freekick..and you should do a video about that particular freekick alone..
4:48 No showboat...PURE Football.
And he knows the world know that.
This guy is 5 ft 6 inch
Most goals in last decade also most assirs most dribbles most chances created he is the goat
He was born like that.
you have to watch more more more about this aline
"He is Football" Well Said.
Any player would be fall or dive and shout to referee of they chased like that but Messi, he's something else🔥
Messi is football god. He is a complete package.
Messi is the MJ of football. Pure talent despite their physical handicaps.
They were intrical in the development of in my opinion the 2 greatest players of all time
you gotta do one on the videos where Messi dribles. Those are his best.
Watching an American coach react to Messi is so much more satisfying than some random American saying damn that was crazy
Nice things you said about his strong body, hips and legs, that worked out so much so he got that incredible balance even tho he is short 1,69 m
The real quality of magical messi videos are the background music and commentaries....
Please make another messi video showing his goals and playmaking ability, Messi fans like this #forcabarca
It doesn't get any better than this.. #Fact❤️
Zidane is worth a watch. Elegance, strength and unbelievable skill.
In terms of driving the ball in the field, an Argentina legend called Alfredo Di Estefano said this quote that can reflect the style of Messi:
"The ball is made of leather, that comes from the cows, the cows eat grass, so, play with the ball in the grass"
And well, the movement through the legs certainly is very humiliating.. if in a playtime of a school you hear a " woooo"..probably is because some kid made this to another during a game..xd
One comment i saw from another messi video is that Ronaldo is the best in this world, while Messi on the other hand is out of this world 🤯 props to both, we are seeing 2 of the best footballers of all time right now!!
Messi is just pure instinct
