Agree 100% on the up / down for the hitting box, just the few times watching it in this video was driving me nuts towards the end. If they can just pop open a hitting box window and then take it away once you’re good that would be much better.
Yeah, I don’t wanna make a big deal about it, but it just makes no sense to me and I guess someone that has occasional vertigo. It’s just really annoying lol
Great Video Jay, your right 11:52 the placement of the ball should be the same as the range. What do you think of the mini map wind, I think it's great something for GSPro to look at.
It is funny I have had people say that each way, I think the clear advantage some like about MLM2Pro is the ability to use it on real grass outdoors utilizing the Radar, then I hear a lot of people that like Square over MLM2Pro for chipping and putting, but it seems to be a wide mix and preference for both for sure, many also mentioning subscription and GSPRO advantage of square.
@ definitely both aimed at different markets, just not a fan of the subscription for the mlm2 pro, squares app for Gspro is great to , can’t believe rapsodo haven’t come out with one yet.
Graphics are better on the 2 new courses, nothing was updated on the previous 10 courses. Love the ball tracking on the new courses compared to previous ones. The no putt option is good as it speeds things up when you’re playing with friends. Still not a fan of the camera dropping for you to place the ball, thought they would have just done the same as the range on the new courses, maybe future update. Also wish they would have put in the option to change players name when you add people, just puts them as “ player 2..” I’m sure these things will only get better in future updates. Love my Square, does everything I need and more.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos I sent a list of suggestions & minor issues to Square support. One thing I did not like was the higher graphics restriction for the 2 new courses. It's a little choppy on my iPad 6th gen and basic Windows 11 laptop in the high graphics setting but playable. I had no issues with the graphic quality of the original courses. They were very good & realistic enough for me. One reason I liked the Square was because it didn't require a gaming computer to play the courses. If I choose the Medium graphic settings, the 2 new courses cannot be accessed. I think they should design courses that can be used in either the Medium or High quality setting & let the user decide what to use. Not allowing the use of a course because it can't be played in the Medium setting is not fair to the user.

I would like them to measure and show swing speed, launch angle and if I was being really hopeful, descent angle (that obviously would be a calculated rather than measured number). On the club path I have doubts about the accuracy of the path data. But for a $699 it is very impressive and the updated graphics on the new courses are very good, maybe not to E6 Apex or GS Pro standard, but still very good. I like what Square Golf are doing

Hi mate, do you know whether the Square LM would work under a roofed patio/pergola area? I read that the Square LM shouldn't be in/facing direct sunlight due to potential harm to the hardware but in my situation, I have a net set up in my patio that has a roof covering the entirety of my sim setup. So the Square would be sitting under the roof and somewhat indoors (given the 3 walls of my patio) but it will still be exposed to indirect sunlight. Would you happen to know whether this is okay or should the Square only be used indoors with minimal to no sunlight? Thanks in advance!
Yeah, just because it’s outside doesn’t really make a difference. They’re just making sure that people don’t think they can use it on real grass or out in the sunlight. If you’re in the shade off of a mat, you’re fine.
When you trying to fade the ball, the data showed out to in on some but still with a closed face angle, yet you did not mention that. Kind of tough to fade a ball with a pull swing... Is the monitor accurate on this?.... The outcome would suggest it is doing a fair job... Oh, and another question that the company doesn't seem to want to answer. Have you heard when they will be shipping orders to the US again. Mine is still not shipped. Been about a month.
I would have to review, did the ball actually fade on those? Also, if that face to path or face to target? MOST IMPORTANTLY, I know the face angle is not measured only estimated as I have pointed out in several videos including the first look where I showed the data chart, so I am really paying attention to path and what I expect the shot result to be based on my execution.
I just got my square LM yesterday and set it up. I find that my numbers for distance are about 20yards short for each club. Have idea what could be causing such a consistent inconsistency?
I’ve had a few people mention this. My distance is actually seem to be quite accurate compared to most other launch monitors. I guess the biggest thing is what are you comparing? The distance is to? Every Carry algorithm is different, 20 yards is definitely a lot is on all clubs?
@GolfSimulatorVideos it seems to be all clubs but you notice it the lower the club is. I've used trackman and the swingcaddie with no issues and accurate results. I've even added the reflective strips to my clubs and still the same issue. I'm having to swing out of my boots to get the same distance I normally get at 70%. Not sure what to do
Bought mine with the first code from Simspace back Nov 25th. No idea whats going on. They deducted my money from my account the next day but I have no information on when they're shipping or if they're shipping. Wondering if I should call my credit card company
I think it all depends on the user. Those that can afford the GS pro software and are looking for that experience and have a gaming computer. Seems like many are going that route but there’s also a lot of people that just want as budget as possible using an iPad for instance. I’ve also talked to several people that only get to play nine holes every week or so or maybe a full 18. At like $2 a round that’s pretty cheap for someone like that, especially when many days they might just hit balls on the range, which doesn’t cost anything.
