@goldfish8196 bro you can always buy an exhaust. That exhaust is ugly as fuck I agree. Look at the exhaust swap videos on TH-cam for the MT-09 and you will see what I'm talking about. It has the same engine. But the R9 has fairings where the MT-09 doesn't. I'm positive there will be aftermarket exhaust swap available for the R9 and I think that hole is to make it lighter. The whole frame for the R9 weighs 21.3 pounds. That's almost as much as that junky ass exhaust it comes with. So swap the exhaust for a lighter and better sounding one and your in the game. That's what I'm going to do and keep it moving. Laterz

ahhh, 50% bigger engine and less power and less rpm than the r6. r6 will run faster lap times at any long track.
Yamaha r6 117 hp, 61.7 nm of torque. r9 117 hp and 93 nm of torque.
