    I was just curious about the procedure being done to me by my orthodontist so I searched for this video. Don’t get me wrong, my dentist has explained everything to me but I just can’t visualize it. Thanks to this video it helped clarify some things. I have a similar profile and overbite as the lady’s and similar procedure done as well. It’s amazing how correcting the bite and jaw transforms a person’s image and self esteem as well! Thanks to these amazing orthodontists

    You are doing an amazing job! I am having a hard time finding a good orthodontist here where I live (Europe),they all have different opinions on what teeth I should extract so that makes me insecure about my choices. But I really love the way you explain things and the results of course,you seem very professional. Is there a chance I could send you pictures of my teeth so you could recommend what is the best thing for me to do? Thank you in advance!

    she's literally glowing in the after pictures! what a great job by you guys, well done! i can't wait to get braces one day as a 27 y/o with a slight underbite.
    question: do i have to get my gums to stop bleeding commpletely to be able to get braces?

      It is best to get a dental cleaning and exam prior to getting braces. If you have bleeding gums its definitely something to see your dentist about.

    The result is amazing, you made a great job!! But I have a question: the 2nd molar (mandibular) remained behind the upper 2nd molar, leaving the jaw behind the maxilla. Could this in the future potentially cause problems to the temporomandibular joint because the condyles might rest too far back? Or is the vertical dimension of the occlusion enough to avoid this risk? I see that the patient has great vertical dimension after the treatment

    If I'm 26 years old and i were to fix my overjet by extraction of 1st premolars from the upper jaw and retracting it, will the gap closed or since I'm 26 years old it won't fully close?

    Why does a retainer have to be worned for life? is it because the gap of the extracted teeth can shift and re-open that gap?

    • @PremierOrthodontics
      @PremierOrthodontics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Your teeth never stop moving at any age. So if you want to maintain the alignment from orthodontics, a retainer wi be required

    Hi Doc. I'm on my 42 and having a severe crossbite. I am not sure if this can be fix through braces and have some tooth missing specially on mollar teeth. Do you think my bite can fix just by braces.

    The new Orthodentist want to extract 2 teeth in her upper jaw and she will get a new braces. I dont know what to do. Is that the only way to treat a overbite? Because I dont want to extract her thees. It is possible that her jaw change ?? , because she is young and she grow and her face is changing. I hope you understand me und give me a advice. Every case is different and it's hard to know without seeing your exact case, but if that what your Orthodontist is recommending to fix your overbite, this is a normal procedure. Hope this helps!

    I have a small gap between my upper jaw to the lower one. When I look at before and the after of the mild overbite on one do your videos , the after one looked a bit like mine. Not sure if it is an overbite.

    Hello! I have a problem with my braces. My upper central molars are in the same position as in your video above. I have extracted my wisdom tooths but my teeth just don’t move. I wear braces for 6 months now and there is no improvement at all. My dentist thinks is because of the ligaments around the roots. I don t know what to think about this anymore…
