Kwame Nkrumah was not first resident of West Africa. He was the first president of Ghana, the first country in sub Sahara Africa to gain independence from colonial rule.
Black Star Square is the same as Independence Square. It was renamed Independence Square after the overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah and then renamed back to Black Star Square after the January 13, 1972 coup d'etat. The edifice with the Black Star on top is called the Independence Arch.

It's not Europe but why do Africans want their countries to look like Europe? Morocco is profiting millions a year off traditional African architecture and traditional culture.
No it’s not like they want their countries to look like Europe, it’s just to correct the negative impression people have about Africa being stricken with poverty ….and also debunk the wrong notion the media is tryna portray about Africa being a danger zone
Thank you! I’ve never been to any country in Africa, and I intend to correct that sad state of affairs next year so I’m researching where to visit. My focus in traveling is food, music, people, and architecture. I’ve been to nice villages in France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Austria that have shops, restaurants, and hotels, but are very walkable because the topography of the area wasn’t changed to accommodate car culture - the streets aren’t all paved and wide, there’s not much traffic, there aren’t skyscrapers…I’m from NYC, if I want all that I’ll stay home.
It’s the independence arch is not the same thing and also the choice of words not the best. Why use words it’s “ just by the road side”. Also what is the average temperatures in Nigeria? Because I keep hearing things like “ it’s very hot” so some of us are curious to know the average temperatures in Nigeria.
Buh it’s at the road now? Ok what is the best way to put it please? About the temperature in Ghana? Please this isn’t something we’d argue about cos it’s honestly hotter in Ghana compared to nigeria…except we’re to compare to the core northern parts of Nigeria
@ well you obviously can’t back your statement with facts innit? Accra is 25 degrees now I text you. Averagely it’s 18 - 32 or more depending on your location in gh. So again what’s your average temperature in your location?

You can tell me but it’s ok to accept whatever she said if I’m not satisfied? Ok if you say so ha ha ha occidental Africa!
So if a rape case is brought to the Supreme Court and the rapist is sent to prison, does that mean the judge was or is wicked? Please ask the driver for me.

Yeah in 1934 he was in Gold Coast(Ghana) he even founded nationalist news paper here in Ghana and that experience made him got involved in politics cos as soon as he left Ghana he began to enroll in politics with his first party being Nigerian Youth Movement & later NCNC Which won him a major recognition… Thnx Fr the spell check
How can Ghana be a state in nigeria? Do you people know your land mass and that of Ghana? The best thing to do is to research before you jump into assumptions. Imagine
Medaase! they confuse population to landmark, they think the number of people in a habitat is as equal as the geographical landscope or landmarksize, they be saying the whole of Ghana is as equal as one state!! Like they be dumb asl sometimes🙄 anyways madam youtuber you’re doing a great job 😊

He missed so much to show about the center of Accra where the GA people of Ghana come from. Their main hub with the palaces of so many divisional chiefs of the Ghana people. He went through areas like Akoto Lantern, Korle Woko, Palladium, Mudor etc. and could not name them. There is match history and culture to be shared about these areas.
