  • India is celebrating 75 years of independence, and we focus on technologies that are helping the country build a more robust defence system. In this special episode of Tech It Out, we look at why India is adopting new technologies to protect the country's borders and how some home-grown defence tech startups are helping the Indian Armed Forces.

      India too has illegal border crossing problem, more particularly from Bangladesh and Myanmar. However, our govt proposed a bill to send back those staying illegally in India. Unfortunately, George Soros from your country through its NGOs peddled the narrative that all Muslims will be thrown out of India (because those illegal immigrants were muslims and muslims in India want India to be a Islamic nation by 2047 and US is supporting them).
      There were massive protests in capital which led to huge economic losses to country and govt had to back off.
      Just 2 days back, New York times published an advertisement of development done by opposition parties in education while in fact they are performing very poor. All Soros wants is Modi to not return to power but a weak leader who could easily dance as per instructions from US (Soros to be specific).

    CronAI has so many use cases even in civil lines I can only imagine.
    Update - got me thinking - if we can combine CronAI along with other imaging tech from other startups mentioned here and if they collaborate with Indian auto manufacturers like Tata and Mahindra - we will have autonomous predictive driving tech in India which will come home grown - won't need Tesla anymore

    • @abhradipchoudhuri352
      @abhradipchoudhuri352 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @BoxReactance I think the tech of cron AI works on the principle of predictive analytics of a object moving direction, now coming to your monitoring part - what about the connected tech ypu are using right now from cars 360 deg camera to your phone - don't you think all apps In your phone is not tracking you in anyway? Come on even before thinking in lines of improvement you are being negative. By your logic you should not have a digital finger print at all which includes the Gmail account you used to reply here

    • @abhradipchoudhuri352
      @abhradipchoudhuri352 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @whydowefall I agree with you - in a country like India autonomous driving is atleast 20yrs away, but with this tech we can deploy some sort of TCAS system like aeroplanes which can avoid collision reducing loss of life as a first step that's also a valid use case. Imagine this AI comes factory fitted with OTA updates on a modern car like today which practically is a computer in itself (Both IC and EV) it will be a step in the right direction. Hacking yes I agree is am issue, but if the concept of enhanced security encryption is implemented it can go a long way like air gap concept

    • @ANURAGSINGH-bt2rr
      @ANURAGSINGH-bt2rr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@abhradipchoudhuri352 Autonomous driving car tech is simply not just perception. You can think of it as monitoring + action in different environments. On the contrary, cronAI software might be just doing the monitoring. These models can be fine-tuned for the cronAI case since it has to see a particular area for a specific camera. However, self-driving tech is much more complicated than "3D perception based still surveillance" in terms of "computer vision tech".

    • @abhradipchoudhuri352
      @abhradipchoudhuri352 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ANURAGSINGH-bt2rr I agree with your point a lot of RnD specific to India is needed but what I'm trying to point out is we don't need to invent the wheel again, perhaps the startup itself can push boundary for civilian use. It's not like any one company develops tech for cars alone, even likes of BMW, Audi etc actual infotainment system was developed and tested by wipro since I was part of the testing team 13yrs back before Harman Kardon opened its offices in bangalore. So in short I mean collaboration and tech development is the need of the hour

    If India were run like a business company (like Apple, Amazon etc.) then it would see exponential growth💰💵💵 with massive ROI to its shareholders (Indian citizens). But unfortunately there is cut throat politics and scams in every state so at least for next few decades nothing is going to change much.

    Something is seriously wrong with LCA program management, they need to do parallel processing and critical path management better otherwise they can never catch up with squadron requirements.
    For example I am sure they would not have ordered F414 engines for LCA Tejas 2 technology demonstrater when they know that F414 engine has to be used. It is so pathetic that this keeps happening again and again. The program leadership has to take responsibility of delays and do something about it. As of now it is going in a Sarkari Mediocre style which will not take them anywhere.
