aww man I love when they roll up to the place where the humans were staying on horseback & basically told them y'all stay over here, we'll stay over there
I really bounce back and forth between Dawn and War as my fave of the trilogy. Koba is the best villain by far in this series and the story in this one is intriguing and heartbreaking. You see on both sides that just one person with hate or prejudice caused a collapse and got rid of any chances of peace. Humans and apes here were near identical. Such a great dialogue. I was especially upset with the humans and their lack of accountability...if humans had not take apes from their home, experimented and mistreated them for the use of science, society would not have collapsed as it did. Yet they still blame the apes. Such a great example of what we go through as a society today post covid. Really looking forward to your reaction of War.
Koba is a very interesting topic part of me wants to feel bad for him because where he was experimented on so much but then he goes on and does things like tries to kill Caesar he starts a war with the humans and he kills other Apes who dare question him without a doubt he's the best villain in this Trilogy in my opinion
45:38 In line with many cannon breaking franchises now I would love to see a spinoff timeline where Humans & Apes learnt to live & work together in making a better world (that we should be living in now) starting with Ceasar & Malcolm showing both species how together both could be even stronger by humans showing their strength with their adaptability & innovation while Apes showing the strength of their ideology of togetherness & common purpose.
I read somewhere; 'There are 2 types of people that come out of a traumatic experience, survivors & victims. Survivors move on from the experience & get on with their lives, victims remain trapped in the experience & let it dictate their lives.' I would add there are 2 types of victims (IMO); the ones that give in to the victim mentality & plead for sympathy thereby remaining helpless victims & those that turn to a destructive mentality either by lashing out attacking all those around them in an attempt to feel safe again or turning to drugs trying to hide from the experience, further destroying themselves. Koba & Carver are examples of a victims that lashes out, they didn't move on which ultimately resulted in their destruction.
Some classics to consider The Gangs of New York… Daniel Day Lewis / Leo De Caprio The Road to Perdition … Tom Hanks, Paul Newman, Daniel Craig Mystic River… Sean Penn The Town…. Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner
Koba is, hands down, one of the greatest villains of all time. You can see where he's coming from, and justified as it is, his cause and intentions are wrong nonetheless. So few villains, in and outside of comic book movies, are like that.
The woman's name is Kerry Russell I think and 'the guy from Fringe (the best show ever) is Kirk Acevedo, or Jackie Estacado from The Darkness as I know him!.
Hi Nick, Hi Jen i hope you are both doing well? Thankyou for reacting to react to the re-boot planet of the apes franchise. I look forward to your reactions to it. I love this movie and this franchise in general. My personal fave of the franchise is Rise. I hope you’ll finish the trilogy with war for the planet of the apes and i’ll look forward to you reactions to that one too. Take care 🏴😘
Interesting this was your favorite, actually this was my least favorite of the trilogy but still a good watch.. Glad they got rid of that sexual predator James Franco after the first movie!

I must agree; this film is exceptional. The Matt Reeves/ Michael Giacchino combination has been pure gold since Day 1

Rise is 2 for me it’s really cool on rewatch to see the origin of koba ceaser Maurice and rocket
An astonishingly good trilogy. Dawn is my fave too but they all work together brilliantly as Ceasar's story.

This is different than the original movies. The apes were walked upright. It is a remarkable movie with nice touches. It was and is worth your time!
This movie is my favorite of the trilogy! SOO GOOD

How dare you! Encouraging people to grow and move on is victim blaming! /s
@@ProtossWannabe1984 I am guessing you are being satirical 🤔

No they're not!
Let’s settle it Caesar and Kona is like Rick and Shane from the walking dead
Carver and Koba have a lot in common
The woman's name is Kerry Russell I think and 'the guy from Fringe (the best show ever) is Kirk Acevedo, or Jackie Estacado from The Darkness as I know him!.
Oh awesome upload! I always love this movie.
Oh wait is this the second one? I’ll have to go watch the first reaction I must have missed.
Haven't started the video yet, but I hope you react to the whole series. 👏👏👏
I love that when Koba fired the rifle the first time, they show just how much strength he has cause that arm *does not move* from recoil
blanks or cgi?
One of the most underrated franchises ever!
Homo sapiens and their guns...and apes getting smart enough to use them and wage war as well. So sad!

Hello theee,great trilogy
I love that you do this with your mom, that's very cool.
I love your mom so much 😭❤️
❤
Woody…?🤯
I don't agree that this is the best of the trilogy. I feel it's the weakest. I do agree Koba is a fantastic antagonist
13:30 Oh my god, your mom is just like how my mum use to be 😂😅 thats the sort of reply my mum would give. A$$hole...Yes! Aha
