Great video cichlids look great I love the trimacs red eyes looks ace.i got four angel fish last Sunday they were described as Peru altums but when I asked there not altums there a larger species of angel .they had a large one there for sale for seventy pounds so will be interesting to watch them them grow cheers dean
Yes its a shame they are calling them Peruvian Altums when are just standard Angels so many people buy them thinking they are, however still a very nice Angel Fish and thanks bud 👍

Great vid mate, the Cuban will be right as rain in no time, Trimac’s a peach! Fin perfect! I’ve never kept trimacs defo on the wish list, I’ve kept amphilophus Lyonsi another stunning cichlid in its own right, tht Trimac tho 🤩 👍

Yes very true although I like FH and have had them before but they are no where near as good as the Trimac. Cheers mate for watching 👍

Looking fantastic mate , nice scape and stunning fish. There’s always smart arses out there that think they no it all , I’ve been keeping cichlids about 15 years mate but I’m still learning,you just do what you’re doing mate, you’re tanks look great and fish look healthy, that’s what matters 👍

Really nice fish mate gonna grow into stunners on filtration tho where is your uplift tubes on your sponge filters they will work alot better with them it causes more of a vacuum effect also are you runing airstones inside them 👍

I love both species to be fair not sure why people compare the Cubans to the Jags but i have it said a few times

I have 210 Gallon 6ft x 2ft x 30 inch. Do you think a Cuban would work with 2 Gold Saums"Green Terrors", 2 Firemouth Cichlids, 1 Carpintis Cichlid, 1 Chocolate Cichlid, 1 Salvini Cichlid, 1 Green Severum, 1 Red Shoulder Severum? I might rehome the Severums if they don't work out though.
What size aquarium would you suggest for a single cuban cichlid no tankmates thanks
I would say if you can 350l but could get away with 300l
Why in the bloody hell my trimac isn't growing . Mine is from max cichlids also
I have one from COTA which I have had for 5 months and that hasn't grown much
