I worked in Wardrobe on a tv movie in 1978 titled "The Gypsy Warriors", with Tom and James Whitmore Jr. Tom was a delight to be around. I remember he and several cast and crew members talking and laughing about that new comic they saw on tv recently named Steve Martin. Just as Tom did I hear Steve Martin went on to have a successful career too! 😂
I love to listen to him either in a role or in an interview. Humour, matter of fact and greatful. Always have loved Blue Bloods. Was not sure it would last. Very glad cbs stuck with it and i was wrong. Will miss it alot.

Selleck is one of few the Hollywood actors that knows to keep his mouth shut regarding social issues. He may be the most liberal guy in town, or he may be ultra conservative. Either way, because he doesn't run off at the mouth, his popularity has spanned a very long and interesting career. Love watching him "at work". Always makes me believe the character is real.

The work ethic is strong in our older population. Love that Tom is still among those pushing ahead. But a bit disheartening that he feels after his long work history, if he wants to continue living on his ranch he must continue to work.

I lived in Waikiki in 1987.....I was at a stop light at around 7PM at night in Waikiki and noticed that a white Porsche had pulled up next to me.....I looked to my left and noticed Tom looking right at me....Tom then pulled into the parking lot of Nicks Fish Market that was a joint he was known to eat at....one of my few contacts so to speak with a famous person....

What a man! I have fond memories of gathering in the '80s to watch him in Magnum, P.I. We girls would pop the popcorn and were mesmerized. CBS would be nuts to cancel it. There's no loyalty with these networks, they suck. DO NOT cancel BLUE BLOODS!

The work ethic is strong in our older population. Love that Tom is still among those pushing ahead. But a bit disheartening that he feels after his long work history, if he wants to continue living on his ranch he must continue to work.
