Don’t Mark Carney and Christia Freeland have a personal relationship? Like, Mark is the godfather to her children or something of the sort? Wondering if they had a conversation on the weekend and decided it was time to try to crush Trudeau….Mark then takes over as leader of liberal party and if he gets elected leader of the Libs and prime minister at some point, then Cristia becomes finance minister again or something like that?

I really hope our Governor General plays a role where if Parl hits the bump of non confidence or a call for General Election she holds fast on the fixed date election and says PP can form his government. In 6-8 months they make mistakes or solidy voter confidence on more than campaign slogans. At least we see a PP Tories budget, we see details on climate, borders, energy security, taxes, housing solutions, and deficits before a General Election with their Throne Speech. Folks can then vote more informed in October based upon the look of a PP Cabinet and Public Policy being better detailed as contrasted with the Liberals over the past 9 years.

I'm surprised to hear you all say that you like Sean Fraser. To me whenever I hear him talk he comes off as out of touch, to a pretty extreme degree. He often comes off as the rich kid who had everything handed to him. He also seems to be not so great as a minister, he went from immigration when that was an issue, and then got transferred to housing and then seemingly did a whole lot of nothing but announce things there, while the issue got much worse. He did eventually being out the old preplanned designs stuff but I had heard that reported as a good easy idea the government could do months before the government eventually announced it.
