As Dr. John Lennox says, Where there are laws, there must be a Lawgiver. I think you should check him out and possibly consider him as an interview. He was a student under C. S. Lewis. I think his class might have been the last class Lewis lectured, but I may be mistaken about this. Dr. Lennox is a mathematician and a fascinating man, with pondering mind and humble spirit. I would love just to sit in a room and listen to him talk forever about whatever is going on in his mind. He talks about such deep things of the Bible.
OH MY GOD!! As a fan, and Argentinian, having heard you speak bits and bobs about your upbringing throughout the years, seeing your dad there and yourself drinking mate is simple HUGE!!! Honestly, thank you for making these pieces of personal stuff part of your show, it humanizes the content and makes us (or at least me) feel so much close and resonate with the podcast's mission. No cambies nunca, Andrés!!!!
Beautiful note... But, please, disregard the last comment. You are not doomed to be who you are for the rest of your life! We can change, and, in fact, we do!
Having a father with a very high IQ but suffering from schizophrenia, basically devastating a stable home growing up, I really envy you. You are blessed and I am the best version of father to my kids partly due to the wisdom Andrew Shares!!👊🏽👍🏽
Wow. Those last few minutes, in particular, were so very touching. As parents we would all wish to share words and the wonderful expression of love that you two shared. Thank you.
As a curious child who was often scolded for asking too many questions, and later as an adult roasted for exploring diverse topics, it's such a relief to listen to Bernardo Huberman. I faced similar struggles as a graduate student after moving to the US. Thank you for the podcast, Andrew!
The sweetest episode of all! Let’s us all collectively heal our childhood traumas. There is always the opportunity to start over with those whom we love. Thank you, Hubermans!
A wonderful episode, as Latin American this kind of videos made me appreciate my Latino heritage. It would be a pleasure watching this episode fully in Spanish and analysing your Argentinian Porteño accent. Viva Latinoamerica!!!!
Love you, dear Andrew!🤍 I listen to ALL the episodes, starting with the announcement of your podcast. It has somewhat replaced the opportunity to study at Stanford for me.) And now it helps me survive here in Ukraine, staying mentally and physically healthy. If I lived nearby, we would definitely be friends. After the end of the Russian war against Ukrainians, I dream of creating a retreat center here "according to the recommendations" of Huberman Lab. Thank you, Bro! And Thanks to the Universe for such Human Beings!
WOW...I just gotta say I am new to this channel and every episode I've watched so far has just blown my mind wide open! Because of these no BS Straightforward discussions about serious body issues.People go through, has helped me to succeed at more things in my life than ever before! This specific episode, is like a sweet treat for me, as it touches on all questions I've had about life/life after death. Ect... From the bottom of my heart Thank you, Andrew Huberman, for helping me to live life and enjoy it along the way. 🤝
What a gift this episode is. I had no idea how much I would get out of this podcast. I would try and spell it all out here but that’s better suited for my journal. Thank you for bringing your dad on 🙏. What an incredible guy.
This was an incredible gift. 🙏 I really enjoyed the dynamic between you two. I feel inspired to learn, create and stay true to my interests! Thank You!!
I'm 1 of the guys who gets hubberman video notification right around the time of my workout of marathon running. 😅 so lucky. Great work as always A. hubberman 👍
For all the budding scientists like myself, I’ve begun reading Mathematica by David Bessis. He too talks about being passionately curious and how it’s the secret to problem solving.
I am extremely excited to learn from your father and yourself. This is a very exciting podcast episode for me. I need to get back to therapy again. Thank you for introducing better help to me in the past. That's interesting to know about the type of education Father Dr. Huberman mentioned about reciting poems along with the strict environment. I remember when I was in elementary school, Sat & Sun's of the school transformed into Chinese school. We also had to recite poems from ancient scholars. The mannerisms/rules/respect towards teachers was equivalent to that of your parents. Extremely strict in comparisons to today's mannerism towards education.
¡Hola Profe! Wonderful conversation. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet Your father.Your conversation once again made me realize how much I miss my dad and the conversations we used to have .Thank You for all Your hard work and care for all of us.

What a great guest and episode! One can only imagine what it must be like to have such an intelligent and successful parental figure. To grow up thinking highly of your parent's intellectual prowess and profession, to hear intelligent conversations around the dinner table, to hear about the fascinating people he worked/works with and get introduced to some of them. To have a parent that has guidance and values abt how to be cultured, how to dress etc. It's kinda bittersweet, but inspirational, too🥲
Actually as a kid I was a religious then I became an atheist, think it was when I read about genius Charles Darwin and his Darwinism. After that I get psychology degree and I became even more of a atheist. But in a last year or two I felt that actually the world is so empty without God and personally I need to be spiritual, because not only for some evidence (although I see evidences for his existence) but because I just think there should and not only should there has some kind of power that create everything not only the good things but the bad things also. Everything is a part of a bigger plan and just like Andrew Huberman said "human brains are so limited" so we don't know everything and even if there is a possibility and there is about that maybe there is no free will, no God and no soul , even if that's gonna be true I will rejected it because it's the right thing to do!
Recognize this is a big thing in your life, don't learn this in hindsight, learn the reality and weight of this moment. Few people on the Planet can spend time with their parents like you just did....I'm happy for you Andrew, Happy Holidays! 🕊️ @@hubermanlab
Dr. Bernardo Huberman discusses his journey in physics, from Argentina to the US, exploring chaos theory, quantum mechanics, and AI. He reflects on the nature of scientific discovery, the importance of curiosity, and finding joy in both intellectual pursuits and everyday life.
I was forced to change writing hand to right when I was a child as well and I also have PhD and various multidisciplinary successes besides, so it may be a good idea for Dr. Huberman to look into correlation/causation of this, maybe the act of neural rewiring needed for switching dominant hand in childhood has something to do with future intellectual adaptability or pattern recognition, it would make a fun episode

What a pleasure to meet your Father. Thank you
Bless you both, Dr. Huberman and Dr. Huberman Senior! It's indeed a very special episode!!
