Thank you for this post I am purchasing some roller bottles and I have quite a few scents of fragrance oils and want to make my own perfume. Great video.
I'd love to learn how to make Egyptian Musk Oil myself. I've tried to make it from the many recipes/ingredients listed online, but they weren't anywhere near what I used to wear. I'm retired now, and would like to make this oil so I can sell it (make a little passive income). If you wouldn't mind sharing (the recipe), I would appreciate it. Thanks!
@@Hyla_Frog some folks add drops but I make mines to where the scent still lingers long. So i did 70% fractioned coconut oil and 30% fragrance…that’s the sweet spot I found for most oils I’ve mixed. If you want a stronger lingering smell do 50/50 or 60/40.
Hi, there. Yes. You can add your favorite perfume to any oil of your choice to make your own roll on. Avoid strong smelling oils and oils that harden in cold temperatures like coconut.☺️
Although coconut oil is a good carrier oil, it will solidify in cooler temperatures. You might want to consider grapeseed, apricot kernel, sunflower or safflower oil. These oils are light and do not have a scent.
@@MyraAso Thanks for the video. I had been ordering wholesale from someone else and the most I could do was double back on my investment if I sell everything. I just ordered some fragrance oil and some roll on vials just to test it to see if I could make it on my own but I wasn't sure if what to mix it with
I notice, you don't seem to use a base to EO ration e.g. 1:4 . How much base Canola Oil did you start with. ? 1/2 the vial ? Also, if you want to replicate a fragrance you made, would it help to use a dropper for a more precise drop count....and also record your drops and recipe as you go so you can replicate it ? Can almond or sandalwood EO be used instead of Canola oil when making a roll-on perfume ? Or are they only used for Base if you're creating an alcohol spray perfume.
Sometimes, I use simple carrier oils from the grocery store. The fragrant oils are from New Directions and I purchased the roll on bottles from a local supplier online.
Hi, there. I no longer sell oils. Check out New Directions Aromatics, Amazon or your local beauty suppliers. I also purchase oils from grocery stores. I hope this helps.😉
Hi. Unless it is fractionated coconut oil (which is free flowing), you will not get the same result. The melting point for coconut oil is around 24 C or 76 degrees F. This means, it will have to consistently stay at this temperature or above to be able to roll on your perfume. I hope this helps. 👍🏾
okekele2001 HANSON You are very welcome!!!! You require a free flowing oil that does not harden like coconut. Grapeseed, jojoba, sunflower or safflower are good alternatives. Olive oil has too strong a scent. I hope this helps.
Mariann Enumah They are sold on Amazon and a quick search for fragrant oils will bring up other online retailers. Michael's Craft store is also a good place. I hope this helps. 😀
Essential oils, ie: lavender, orange, peppermint, tea tree are put into carrier oils, ie: grapeseed, olive, coconut, etc. Carrier oils literally "carry" essential oils. I hope this helps.😌
Highly recommended you check out Zoha Aroma. They're based in Toronto but worldwide shipping is available. Great variety of inspired perfume oils and original blends. ZOHA15 should also grant you 15% off on your order! ☺️
Hi, there. Oils can be purchased at your local Health Food Stores, grocery stores carry food grade carrier oils (stay away from toasted and roasted oils at the grocery store). Online vendors like Amazon are good places for essential, fragrant and carrier oils. Search other online retailers. I use oils from New Directions Aromatics. I hope this helps.😊

I've been looking for a good vid on this for too long. You've helped me out soo much. Thanks alot👍
Thank you. Glad I helped.😊
Exactly! No one tells y how to make the scented ones. But I read that u add fragrance oil which is a synthetic to mimic the scent
Whats the ratio?
I have amber oud perfume oil want to make roll on
As many drops as you prefer. The scent is stronger when the perfume is in its fluid state.
Why not DPG as well? I can't seem to find conclusive answers on if DPG and carrier oil are necessary for roll on body oils.
How do I get the perfume oils and the carrier oils please 🙏

So i want to turn my favorite perfume into a roll on oil would i just add it to the canola oil into a roller bottle?

So is that basic canola oil (cooking oil) and 2 different fragrance oi that you mixed
Yes. I chose canola because it is a simple oil without little to no scent.

Does anyone know how to make these oils into water for a body spray? The oil keeps getting stuck in my sprayer 😩
Hi, there. For a body spray, you will need to dilute your fragrant oil in a bit of vodka and then add water. Shake well. Hope this helps.🙂
Myra Aso thank you. This works for Muslim oils correct?
@@Amirmarqui You can also use alcohol in place of vodka. That might be better. The key is to dilute the fragrant oil first.
Thank you. I was thinking that since I didn’t want the vodka to overpower the smell of the fragrance
