This was the real flower rice, that’s why I tasted it first. We have been eating artificial rice before and it tastes nothing. The fish and rice was delicious 😋
Hi Dan and Anna, hope u guys enjoy the food and for the nasi kerabu u need to mix the rice throughly then it can be eaten...that is how the local eat,or just eat it how do you like it no worries 😊 Ikan kembung - chub mackerels Ikan kerisi - japanese threadfin bream

Selamat sejahtera (Good greetings) Anna’s favourite green is called Kacang Botol (Winged Beans). At chinese restaurant, it is served stir-fried. As for the fried and grilled fish, some times it is best to eat without sauces, then you can taste the fish flavour and freshness

Makanan panas refer to fried rice or noodles or any dishes that cook upon order and you eat it still hot. Like this place they want the pre cooked dishes to finish first.
Next time muat try nasi kerabu with ayam percik.. ❤.. for the ulam always locals take it with sambal belacan.. this is the how locals get eat with this menu..
The small leafy veggies r 'raja-ulam' (majestic). The fried tumeric-fish (threadfins) is best to dip n eaten with black soya sauce, slice res chilli, meshed garlics, a lime juices....yummy! Have it with " Teh 'C'- Halia "(juz tea mix wif evaporated milk, (no sugar) & a small piece of ginger(Halia) -lukewarm(suam)....
Since you like nasi kerabu and nasi dagang, you should spend more time on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia and find all the places that sell these food there. Many hidden jems sell these food there at a much much cheaper price and more authentic.
@@dananna8614 if you visit the East Coast, try more fish dishes, like Singgang Ikan (Fish in somewhat clear broth, it’s lighter in taste compared to Gulai Ikan which is spicy and most of the time contain coconut milk). Nasi Dagang at the 3 different states are differently prepared, and in fact different stalls would put their own twist as well
