    Not many people like to eat chicken feet.. But you two are among the ones who like & are good at eating chicken feet.. Chicken feet are usually cooked in soup (chicken soup), fried or cooked in curry.. You should stay in Malaysia longer (maybe 6 months to 1 year) because there are many more foods that you should try in every state in Malaysia & you must know that in Malaysia there are 14 states that must have special food & many interesting places.. Hope you both are happy here...

      We have been here for almost three months now and we just have to leave for a week to Singapore to get three more months. This country has so much to offer so we don’t want to leave!!! Thank you Enick for sharing and hope you will continue with that on our channel 🙏❤️

    If I am not mistaken, Anna ate the special rice for Nasi Dagang, another type of rice dish that comes from the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

      It was several kinds of rice in the pot twangsa and I really liked it. Same taste I think but different density.

    Its hard to choose sometimes when eating "nasi campur" because there are too many dishes 😅..My favourites are "ikan bakar"(grilled fish) with ulam(salad, fresh veggies and herbs). Thumbs up to u guys embracing our local food culture 👍

    U must say "Teh O ais" (Tea without milk), add some more words "kurang manis" if u want anything less sugar. Any drink without milk u must add it "O". Eg: teh O, milo O ais, Nescafé O, kopi O ect.

    When you order drink w/o milk and sugar, say 'kosong' mean empty. Eg. Teh kosong @ tea w/o milk and sugar. If you order 'teh'(tea) it mean tea with condensate milk and when you want with sugar say 'teh O' only aplicable for street food and open restaurant

    Both of you remind me of a dear Swedish couple that I know. They helped me and my late husband to find a house over in Malmö but it was not meant to be for us to relocate there. I do love and miss the parts of Sweden that I had been to, though. I hope you love Malaysia as much if not more, as well.
    You both seemed to enjoy everything you have tried! Enjoy the rest of your stay in Malaysia. Enjoy the nature and everything else Malaysia has to offer!

Glad that you had the opportunity to try it out for some time, you don’t have to stay for so long if you don’t like the place.     Hahaha..Anna sure like the wing bean = kacang botol…tge brownish rice is called nasi dagang..a dish cones from state of Terengganu on the east coast of peninsula Malaysia..normally eaten with fish curry( mackerel /bonito if not mistaken) and some ‘sambal’…there is some fish fritters (keropok ikan) which u can take as a side dish too or a snack ..really nice....u should go to Terennganu..beautiful beaches and islands.🥰

      Oh yes barbeque stingray with sambal is delicious..if in Malacca they do stingray ‘asam pedas’ dish..its spicy but its a must try ..try google it first…think this cafe you went has a lot of deserts typical from the east coast states.i dont even know their names..its a nice of the lady to asked for u..typical Malaysian i guess lol.

    The winged bean tasted good if you choose the young one. Light green colour. The texture in the bingka ubi @ tapioca is from the grated tapioca itself. They just add sugar, grated tapioca, coconut milk and some flour

      @DanAnna Yes, especially if you consume and bath in this high quality spring water that is of abundance in Ipoh. There's a public springs located at the Lost World of Tambun Resorts, which is accessible to public at an affordable price. They only open in the evenings, and they get their water from the springs and it's great for health if you soak in it. Go give it a try, and you don't need to stay at the resorts to use the spring pool facilities. It is a must do when in Ipoh! 😉👌

    Kudos to that wonderful Malaysian lady who went out of her way and took d trouble just to find out about that kuih ' Bingka Ubi Kayu ' or ' Tapioca Frame Cake ' pudding for you ... Malaysians generally are helpful people ... Only some might be quite reserved probably because they couldn't really understand English but for those like that lady who speaks good English, you can see she was very helpful to you guys ...     for nasi champor, price for plain rice always start RM2, chicken RM4-5, vege RM2-3, more items more price. prawn and squid is expensive, ask the price before take. so if RM10 plus drink with rice + chicken + vege is reasonable..

    So sure this is Kelantanese owned restaurant....East Coast food...so many dishes & sweet & dessert to choose...Actually Anna ate Nasi Dagang...the type of rice a lil bit sticky compared to white rice...normally with the pair chicken/fish gulai or curry so yummy. 🤤

    Mix rice is nasi campur(u ate)
    Tea o ais (with sugar,depend on req less or without sugar).. cool
    Tea ais (with milk) also cool.
    Tea o (serve hot or warm) with sugar.
    Tea (serve hot or warm) with milk..can req tea tarik or pulling tea..
    Just to order like that,then of coz they already know what u want...

    Glad you like the Malay Authentic food. That Green Vegetable name " Kachang Botol " its organic.
    Kueh Bingke Ubi with Coconut milk. Its Tapioca. Usually its come in a circle aluminium mold. Then they cut to diamond shape. Kueh Bingke Ubi ontop with coconut milk.

    Certain parts of Malaysia. They cook bingka as mixing together the tapioka and coconut milk and a little bit of rice flour and salt and bake. The tapioka firstly has to be squeezed off the liquid

      @@dananna8614 Yes, quite a few, like tepung pelita prepared by home-cooked sellers in my district of Kuala Kangsar, agar-agar santan or pandan santan jelly. Very typical of Malaysia dessert and seri muka, or glutinous dessert with pudding topping. Many more

      @@dananna8614 yes. I assume my cousin makes the best tepung pelita. At least to me and to others that she sells to. Very authentic and creamy but not too sweet. The bottom layer firstly no sugar added, she puts a teaspoon of sugar in each. Thus make it a bit watery.. Every process is steam

    Younger people than you like the workers at this place (male or female), you can address them as 'Adik' or 'Dik' to get their attention It means young brother or young sister. Totally acceptable. 😊 If your plates are full you can ask for extra plate/bowl for vege, extra gravy, soup.

    The long bean is called Kacang Botol (Bottle Bean) or Kacang Kelisa (Arowana Bean) delicious to eat it by deep it into sambal belacan sauce and consume together with rice.

    What’s good about nasi campur/berlauk is you can try different combination of lauk (gravy) to create new flavour. And there are lots of types of lauk here in Malaysia. So you can really eat nasi campur for a month straight and still not get bored

    My nasi campor normally below RM10 because I only add 3-4 items only. Plain rice RM2-2.50, fried fish/chicken/beef RM4-6, Veggie RM2-3. 😁
