Honestly the the regular version should have been €200, and the 'pro' €350, *not* €350 and €700 (their actual prices!!!) respectively. Who are the people paying those prices for these watches? Why are they so gullible? Why do they hate their money?
Erebus Ascent is more complex yet it is cheaper, same for Citizen NB1050 (I chose watches with similar specs and built on the same platform). Perhaps they want you to believe it is assembled in Germany with these prices?
Honestly this looks great. I don’t know if I would pay the price for the pro. But I can tell you I wouldn’t pay for the specs on the lower models. Great review.
I have the original quartz and love it: it's incredibly slim, the strap is really comfortable (the best leather strap I've owned, really supple and robust) and without a second hand, it just looks class. It's a great watch for about £150, and gives me no reason to upgrade. I might have a look at Sternglas straps for my other watches if they sell them individually

This one is very similar to the limited Naos Edition Oxford. I purchased one, but I sent it back because it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. Both too dressy and not refined enough. Sadly, this Naos Pro makes exactly the same mistakes. As you pointed out as well: the chrome frame around the date window doesn't work well with the Bauhaus styling. It also has a slightly domed dial (not as much as the Edition Oxford as far as I can tell), but the hands don't go along with it. I'm also not sure about the brushed surface. What I would have wished for: - Same case as the Edition Oxford (completely polished, more domed dial and glass) - A classic white dial without chrome frame around the date window (maybe with a round hole) - Hands that follow the curve of the domed dial Okay, this would be _very_ much like a Junghans Max Bill. I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. MAMACOO brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
There is a strange trend of watch brands naming themselves after nazi-affiliated aircraft manufacturers: Junkers, Messerschmitt, Zeppelin (sorry to the von Zeppelin family, but LZ 129 did carry a hook cross and the unfinished carrier was named Graf Zeppelin).. I don't see that with others. Avi-8 has Spitfites and Mustangs, but the brand isn't Supermarine or Lavochkin-Gorbunov-Gudkov. And "Republic" or "Hawker" would be cracking brand names. I'm just expecting Focke-Wulf, Horten, and Fiesler to emerge...
Not a bad watch in terms of look and build, but a measly 20€ discount from 699€ MSRP still makes it feel like a ripoff. The watch is a limited edition too which is another way to inflate demand and desirability which the product itself can hardly justify.
Almost a grand (USD)!?! Makes a DW look like a great deal. At least the DW is only overpriced by 200$. This is over priced by double that. Come on. Where’s the old Ben?
What's with the completely mangled rotor screws? Also I don't know why brands insist on that raised frame around the date window. It does nothing but obstruct the actual date.
Nomos ripoff from a brand that started with so blatant copies, they had to take them off market. So decide yourself if you want to support such a company. 🤮
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

Yes
I really do like Stenglas's design language, but i would never have the occasion to where one. If my work and lifestyle were conducive, i would definitely have one. It would have to be in a sale though. The rrp is too much, in my opinion.
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. MAMACOO brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the MAMACOO’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
I agree it is little bid bit pricey...
What's your big beef with the Nazis?
Yes.
SEA-GULL 6075.
Thank me later.
Minimalist for the wrong reason. Lmaoooo 0:57
The natural evolution from 'limited edition' to 'pro'.
Not a bad watch in terms of look and build, but a measly 20€ discount from 699€ MSRP still makes it feel like a ripoff. The watch is a limited edition too which is another way to inflate demand and desirability which the product itself can hardly justify.
I guess there will be a pro max version as well.
36 mm and no date version would be better.
Just be thankful it doesn’t have the ubiquitous “i” in front of the name.
I see your "Pro" and raise you "Tactical", come on Addiesdive make a TacticalPro blacked out watch. 😂
Prevent me from thinking I need a new watch prevent me from thinking I doesn't
Junghans: Max Bill
Sternglas: Min Bill
There are a lot of actual pro watches out there and this is mot one of them.
I'll stick to my quartz Naos, it's simple and thin.
Almost a grand (USD)!?! Makes a DW look like a great deal. At least the DW is only overpriced by 200$. This is over priced by double that. Come on. Where’s the old Ben?
black friday bring the Naos Pro from 699 Euro to ....... 679
What's with the completely mangled rotor screws? Also I don't know why brands insist on that raised frame around the date window. It does nothing but obstruct the actual date.
Nomos ripoff from a brand that started with so blatant copies, they had to take them off market. So decide yourself if you want to support such a company. 🤮
get a junghans its better
just another watch that I quite like, but would never buy
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
Please please please stop saying “simplistic” as a synonym for “simple”. They mean quite different things. Simplistic usually refers to an attitude or idea, and conveys the notion that it is overly simple, lacking necessary nuance.
The same thing is happening in the motorcycle world.
PRO, Price Rip Off.
iq tax
679 Euro????? And people buy them??? Well, that must be the reason for NASA to search in outer space for intelligent life Spoiler: These watches are shit!!
skip the annoying music
