Fun fact, Luigi's Mansion, when first coined, was originally supposed to have a time limit of 24 real life hours to stop King Boo and save Mario. Go over that time limit, the game's over and you'd have to start over.
Basically E. Gadd telling you that your adventure lasted only a single night is a contradiction to the original intention, and therefore, a sin.

13:05 well he was added as a boss in the DS remake of Super Mario 64. In Super Mario Galaxy 2 there’s a recreation of Whomp’s Fortress called Throwback Galaxy.
In that level the bob-bomb buddies and Whomp King will recognize Mario AND Luigi we can conclude the DS version is the canon story. Ergo Mario messed with him in the past
dude, the amount of effort you put into voice acting for videos like this is pretty outstanding. you could've just left the dialogue to scroll onscreen, but you give every single character a voice, and it MASSIVELY bumps up the enjoyability of these videos. kudos to you for caring so much about what you do.

When King Boo mentions the "trouble" Mario & Luigi caused him in the past, I think it may be a reference to Super Mario World. In that game, you fought a Big Boo as a secret boss in the Donut Secret House. While in-game, it's just a normal Big Boo that's translucent, I think that if you take out the hardware limitations of the SNES and do a slight retcon, the Big Boo Mario/Luigi fought is supposed to be King Boo. You can argue continuity, but you also have to remember Mario doesn't have one and trying to create one is a dangerous practice. There was also Super Mario 64 DS that featured a King Boo fight (he was called "The Big Boo" for some reason...), but that was in 2004 while Luigi's Mansion released 3 years earlier.

With the skeleton ghost thing, I think it's kind of like if a dry bones fell into lava at Bowser's Castle. It dies a koopa, comes back as a dry bones, and then comes back as a ghost. I think.

Yo, your narratives of the in game subtitles are actually very legit. That’s some good acting that I aspire to do myself someday.
The reason why the letter is unreadable when you get it at first is because the letter was written in a hurry, so it was hard to read for Luigi at the time.
