I actually genuinely, thoroughly enjoyed Angry Birds, along with the sequel. The games are incredibly addictive too and super nostalgic for me

When he says, "Wouldn't you rather be playing the game than watching this?", that is exactly what I thought when I watched this with my cousin. I feel like this movie just gives context for WHY you're trying to help the birds retrieve the eggs from the pigs in the game in the first place.

This was the last movie I saw with my girlfriend at the time, and it was a perfect metaphor for where we were: it was something pretty built on a rocky foundation and poor ideas which ended with eminent destruction.

One of my problems with this movie is I was completely on Red's side throughout even though they want it too seem like he learned something at the end.

Even though he was right the entire time, and the only reason there was conflict was because the other birds have no concept of stranger danger.
Yeah, Red was literally the only character in the movie with common sense. Every time he was upset he had a genuine reason for it. In a way, it's kinda like the Joker except kid-friendly.
You forgot a sin. Mighty Eagle slammed his head into a hard pot, and he got knocked silly. But earlier in the film, Red slammed his head into a rock with enough force to break it, but he was fine.

12:33 As terrible as this movie is, it gets one crucial detail right, and that’s the special powers of all the birds. If you launch Matilda in any of the games, tap the screen again and she shoots an explosive egg from her bottom. I probably shouldn’t expect a 41-year-old to know that, much less CinemaSins.
Forgot to mention how Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla(Smosh) was in this movie, and they didn’t get nearly enough screen time as they deserve.

This film would've lost a sin had they shown that scene with the giant bird who's voiced by Sean Penn. The whole "incident" is the funniest thing in this movie.

And I genuinely enjoyed this movie, because it was so over-the-top in absurd bullshit that I became convinced the directors were actually trolling the audience, as is confirmed by Rick goddamn Astley's song cameo.
