Seen as non-Christian, this is how I see a Christian going in step with the time.

Yes father I am also confused by your call for donations... why is it phrased "help feed my boys" if we are true believers in christ “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?"

lust is likened to an actual virus even if you are a torch bearer the society is infected and demonic entities travel through the slightest defilement some times as a christian you have to apply some sharia type ablution wash your hands and face and feet often because there are examples were jesus was touched by a women who had a bleeding condition the light left him if this can effect jesus then it can effected you

You're fighting your natural drive as a human being, of course you're never going to "beat" it. Look at all the priests who get caught with kids man, they suppress their sexual desires and can't marry and all it does is make them even thirstier and warps their sexuality. Sobriety is not aligned with our existence. Cutting things out that we desire is not natural.
See the world and humans for what they are. Stop guilt tripping yourself for fulfilling sexual urges. I'm not saying its a good idea to have sex or watch porn all the time, but a balanced life of productivity vs pleasure is what we all should strive for. Its so hurtful to yourself to ignore your natural desires, so unnatural, all based on a book that contradicts itself constantly, that has blatant false statements that make no sense like the Earth was created before the sun, or that humans are only 6000 years old. These are objectively false and easily debunked.
How about how the Bible says certain fabrics can't be worn, should that law be respected? Its all a joke man, for humans who cannot accept how hard existence is and need a reason for all the suffering, or a reason to make it worth it. If there is a God I don't think the Bible is a 1:1 representation of their will. Its been edited and curated by so many fallible humans. Its crazy people take it so literally, and yet ignore so much of it at the same time too.
The hard truth is nobody can be anything but agnostic and live their life with as much practical knowledge as possible. To see humans and the world for what they are here and now, and try to live a balanced life as best as possible. Stop beating yourself up with shame and guilt. Its such an unhealthy thing religion fosters in people man its all BS! WAKE UP AND SEE THE WORLD FOR WHAT IT ACTUALLY IS!

lust is acquired and no one knew about lust until they learned about it. we don't die without sex, it is not a physiological need. comparing that to food how this priest did is irrelevant and ignores the severity of the act. no one would feel safe in the presence of someone who has lustful thoughts. children were wise, virtuous, innocent and pure and knew everything. adults lied and were wrong about everything twisting towards perverted immorality

I noticed in many people i saw battling lust, that even though they tried their best to control themselves, they would still follow 100 instagram models, look at every woman that passed them by automatically, and talk about hot women, make dirty jokes and similar type of stuff whenever they got the chance. First thing i always tell them is to unfollow all the "models", don't keep looking, and never use your tongue to spew lustful talk. Where the eyes and the mouth go, the mind follows. Always Close your eyes and pray when it stings. With time, the spell of lust will slowly but surely lose control over you.
That is not meant to kill libido. When properly used it's a good thing and men need it to fulfill their role... but to not let yourself be controlled by it like a wild animal is a blessing.

The easiest way to control lust is to stay busy. Just keep the body engaged in some type of work till the day you die. Reading the bible, prayer, fasting, practicing whatever ritual to the god you believe in, going gym, going to work, take a walk etc are ways to keep the body and mind engaged. If you go by day to day just being idle then you will fail, idleness is the devils playground.

I have been battling with it again for some time now. What I know full well though is that reading of God’s word daily and being in a good community is paramount to overcoming this sin. We must keep ourselves busy as well. Every time we feel the temptation we must pray and lean on the Holy Spirit, running to God immediately.

I like adding the "a sinner," part to the Jesus prayer. "Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me, a sinner." It's important to remember that we are sinners and completely incapable of salvation without Christ.
The other version of the Jesus prayer, "Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us sinners," is the next level, and recommended to advance to, because it involves praying for Neighbors, whom we are commanded to love, not just ourselves. It is highest form of the Jesus prayer.
All of this I learned this from the book, "John Chrysostom on the Jesus Prayer." Fast read, takes 2 hours to read it, breaks down the prayer on every level and why it's so powerful. It's basically the gospel in a single sentence.
Personally, I say them both, alternating when I'm tempted with excessive anything, but especially lust. Then also fasting. Fasting is huge, fasting seriously puts the clamp down on lust.
    Great vid!

Actual cheat code: see women as God created them (to be helpmeets). Since the woman was made to help the man, she naturally attempts to fulfill his desires - whatever they may be. This is her God-given nature.
Thus the problem of *demand* (for premarital sex and pornography) is the root; the resulting *supply* of temptation is merely a symptom.
Flee it, and your sisters in Christ will love you all the more. You will have made their battle easier, and they will desire to return the favor.

Yes, sir!!! On point! Thats IT!!!!
I always ask, why man can’t control their urges, and actually step back, and bless a girl they found attractive, wish her well, sometimes maybe even, if possible provide some wise guidance, encouragement, support, agape love, be like a father figure, instead of going predatory…… often when a girl says NO.
I answer myself too… why? Because vast majority of people are narcissistic, ego, carnal based reasoning, and behavior.
Man 🧍‍♂️ or woman 🧍‍♀️ SAME.
Women on the other hand are extremely envious of other attractive ones..
      Its a crazy world

The only way to overcome it is to not fear it, and to not judge it as right or wrong. It’s an unconscious behavior and our goal is to move into consciousness so don’t focus on the day to day symptoms of unconsciousness, focus on growing out of that unconscious state and not judge yourself for the lack of control you have over your actions.

A key for me is to think of it as a self directed propaganda campaign. If you neglect to explain to yourself why its a bad path, you soon find yourself falling again.

Elder Thaddeus of Vitovnica is known for the topic of thoughts if you watch the interviews they did with him or read the book "our thoughts determine our lives" you see that this is right. If I'm constantly running in my thoughts like... "oh I need to do this... And then finish this... And this after that" then my livfe will be the same way. I combine this with the teachings of Elder Porphyrios of Kavsokalyvia who said that sicknesses are "Psychsomatic" and that cancer comes or can come from too much worrying.
Fitting I see this video and write this because this was also in today's Gospel reading.
Elder Tahhdeus said aswell that he believes that only with God thoughts and love and faith in God one can be healed from cancer.

This method works really well. This video made me from an atheist to a firm believer. I used to see shadows in my room every time I enacted in sexual activity. Then I added one prayer, and the shadows went away. Every time I saw the shadows, randomly my heart would pump and my thoughts would run rampant. I used this method and included prayer, they went all away. After this, I surrendered my soul to Christ by praying. I cried on the floor randomly the first time I surrendered my soul to him, my heart rate was up and I was cold, shaking. I still remember that day. However, I have been struggling lately again father, please pray for me. Thank you for this video as well.

Been exposed to pornography and all things sexual since I was a toddler, its just been part of my life from ever since. I feel like an outsider both here and in Heaven. I want Jesus but at the same time I want to do what I shouldnt do. Its become almost second nature and now im fighting a tough fight, I despair sometimes. I hate my flesh to be honest, and Ive asked God to change me because he can do that with a single snap of his fingers but he doesnt. Ive told him it is my will to be his son but I am unable to walk in the reality of that. Ive told him even though I cry over and ovet ill still end up sinning and I do. Hes been helping me and ive seen progress but I need a radical change or something or else im stuck this way.
