Many are heroes in their own minds but real heroes do exist. #vstrom #motorcycle #history #ww2 #motorcycletouring I wish my dad had been able to see this place with me. He would have loved it.
Absolutely love these story videos.... Remember my Dad telling me about him while watching one of his films. Really enjoyed this Duncan... Great effort 👍🏻
really great video Duncan 👍 these are regions that we don't know and hey, it's great that you tell us about them in such a transparent way without any frills. A true hero in those days. 💪 loving it
What a madman. What's cool is that I can visualize it somewhat in my head on how this battle played out in the 3rd person but with you going down the road in 1st person, it's like a whole different prospective.
Quite a few actors fought in the war.One American actor was to old but used HIS connections to get into the Airforce & flew bombers. NZ 🇳🇿 has Charles Upham who won 2 Victoria Crosses in WW2 but wasn't a actor a humble farmer who shunned the limelight.

What a great informative video Duncan Audie sure had some Cahoonahs. This story also brought something else to mind, plane crashes are a fairly rare occurrence unless of coarse they are transporting someone of great notoriety 🙄🤔😒😖
@@GermanJobbies Thanks D.! Hopefully the rest of the journey will be OK. Now in the Area between Parma and Genua, heading to Aosta tomorrow. 😜 Greetzzz! 👍🤘
good times make weak men and all. I absolutely believe that to be true. Then again we know a bit more about how the world works today and why modern wars are waged, so that's also a thing. Also, who in the political class can hold a speech to truly inflame and motivate young men these days? Was listening to Enoch Powell some time ago and regardless of how he is viewed, by god that man could talk. That class of politicians is gone, completely.
There are no conviction politicians any more. None of them believe in anything and even if they did, they'd never as you say be able to enthuse anyone anyway. The third rate are now in power.
Wow, what an interesting story again!! Well done! 👍👍👍
