Thanks a lot for such an interesting content! I had a good experience in doing L4 missions on T3 Cruisers (Laser Legion, Tengu for ex.) and HACs (Zealot, Ikitursa for ex.). Just as an idea for new series ;)

A great series cade, I have learnt most of what I know about missions and fitting from it. Always well explained and I'm a bit more tank based vs damage in my fits, but learnt it all through these vids and experimenting. Thanks for the work put in.

I love watching these videos and learning so much about fitting. The sound cutting out is frustrating but a pretty small thing, really.

Sometimes the copyright gods simply say "no sound for you".
More recently produced videos will not be suffering the same issues.
Guess I'll just have to re-make all these old fitting ones sometime...

I ran a tastefully blinged Harb Navy Issue for L3's and many L4's. It's pretty much a direct upgrade to the base Harbinger. Nothing fancy as a faction ship, just more or a good laser boat. I used it as an horribly unoriginal long range beam boat and mostly relied on range-tanking and the medium guns one-shotting most NPC tackle before it ever got close. A little slow to grind down BS heavy spawns but I was never in any danger of being blown up either.
The Ishtar is still my go to for easy button ratting. It's not the god-tier ratter it was, but it's still brain dead simple and effective, easy to take on the road too since its a lot harder for gankers to snag than a 12 sec align battleship. I did the Amarr L4 Epic Arc in an Ishtar like it was an L2 in a newbie system.

These days I think a Cerberus, Sacrilege or even a Muninn may be better than Ishtar for PVE.
More DPS, missiles are always good for PVE, same small size, same high speed and same god-tier Tech 2 resistances!😎

    GAH! IT'S HAPPENING!!!!
edit: [sparks post coital ciggy] Aww yea, that's the stuff.
I have to say, visually, the Harbinger is probably my favourite ship.
Cheers for the video and this series.

I've built this and it works like a charm. Almost at my first +5 implant because of your ships. Could you do a salvager set up?

8:40 That was funny, two downgrades, but the T2 nano pump made it more expensive 😂

What alpha-friendly ship do you recommend the most overall for L3s?

I'd say that Prophecy, Myrmidon, Cyclone and Drake are all pretty good choices.
All of them can have a really good tank and can even be used for Level 4 missions.😎

@@CadePlaysGames Thanks for the reply! I will probably be using the Drake then, helpful tips!

That's full omega skill set for dmg and tank, should be mentioned maybe. And dist setting to missions don't work for all missions. Even saving a spot in location, warp out and warp back to set location distance will be very varying as to the distance you actually end up in relation to the npc's, you can end up on top of them, be insta webbed to almost zero and later scram/disrupt (often not mentioned at eveuni for some reason...). So beware of this at lvl 3's and 4's, especially as an alpha as the game's rigged to make you loose ships.

Yep absolutely correct, the chosen distance is from the warp-in beacon.
The NPC in the mission may be at that beacon, or at some distance from that beacon and the direction you approach the mission from can sometimes land you right in the middle of the bad guys if the RNG gods decide to screw you. 😅😎
