    It feels amazing to know that you guys don't want to leave our country yet, because most people just leave Vietnam within 1 week or 2 and it's such a pity because our country has so much to offer.
    Hope you'll enjoy the rest of your time here. The north has gorgeous sceneries that cannot be described by words.

      It could be possible that most people will stay in Vietnam for 1-2 weeks because it´s between their visa exemption for 2 weeks unlike Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia etc... they give visa exemption for West European, North American Countries from 1 to 3 months :I

    I love what your family are doing in Phong Nha by exploring, hiking throughout the jungle. The waterfall, the forest the trails are surroundings with nature which not much effeted by hands of human. I like hiking and discovering nature too. During pandemic time of 2020 when everything was shutting down and we had to stay home most the time, I and my two friends went to hiking two, three days a week to most every parks around Fairfax County from 5-10 miles a day. It was fun time to get out the house, breathe fresh air also exercise by walking around nature places. Most the time, only my group there with few others with masks on our faces! Now everything are back near normal, me and my friends are busy with work and other things, We didn't do much hiking as we used too. I look forward to see more your adventures video in Vietnam. And say hi to your cute dad too! ☺

    • @doodahgurlie
      @doodahgurlie 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Americans prize tanned skin. They will spend money so they don't look pasty white, which some Vietnamese women do look pasty white and it's sickly looking. A light tan can give you a healthy glow. Over in the US, my mom, who grew up with the white skin mentality would be so confused when I'd climb to the top of the roof to tan as a teenager. Hahaha! So Viet girls conscientious about their dark skin can go to Western countries and everyone will be jealous they are naturally tan. Pretty much all the things Viet girls are self-conscious about isn't really a problem in the US at all as it will be "exotic" to the people here which makes them stand out in a good way.

    Theres a lot of hiking in south korea. Much more active than vietnam. Vietnam has a lot of jungles and hiking places but their locals don’t go much its only a few tourist but south korea hiking is different. You will see a lot of local elderly and young people hiking often

    • @doodahgurlie
      @doodahgurlie 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's because Vietnamese folks avoid the sun, which I'm surprised the Koreans don't as well. Or maybe their weather/temperature and terrain is more conducive to hiking. I doubt they're doing the kind of hiking Tia and Chev did today as that looks a bit more dangerous and challenging. Also, when something is in your backyard, you take it for granted.

      Hiking in vietnam jungle is dangerous. Most of the treking would be in the North or in Tây Nguyên in South Central Vietnam. Commoners in Vietnam would not go hiking in the jungle for fun. Many foreigners went to Vietnam go treking and got accidents, got lost, losing their lives. The Central temperature in summer can get to 45 degree Celsius with the burning sensation more than 50 degree. So it's a no no lol.
