Great job for having such beautiful videos and showing us the most beautiful places you went to. I notice most of your video clips have added in some drone shots which is very cool. I am thinking to bring my drone with me for the next visit to Vietnam. Can you tell me a bit about your experience of bringing drones into Vietnam? Is that okay and easy or any trouble to pass through the custom from VN airport? Do you need to register your drone or ask for permission from the local authorization office to fly?
Hey there! We actually do not have a drone, and haven’t used any drone clips 😅 We looked into it and according to the Vietnam government website, foreigners need to have a drone license for all drones 250g and above. Also, every flight has to be approved by the government. We’ve heard stories of people’s drones being confiscated at the Da Nang airport, but it doesn’t seem to happen to everyone. The other person that responded to you gave contradictory information, so maybe the laws are different for Vietnamese, or (more likely) applied different in practice?

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Food will often have names that aren't actual descriptions. For example, the famous "chicken Cordon Bleu" that we are familiar with in the West doesn't actually have a blue ribbon wrapped around it. So whenever you encounter odd names like that, Google Search is a much better friend. :)
Actually it’s more than that! I thought the tank was 4.7L, a bit more than a gallon. It’s actually 3.7L - a hair under 1 gallon! So the bike effectively gets 120 miles to a gallon (we’ve personally went 110 miles on a tank before filling up). Pretty impressive little bikes, for what they are! Would not work at all in the US with the high speed traffic, but they’re the perfect bike for Vietnam in my opinion.
But Dad's Honda XR can get 350-400km on one tank (OK, less efficient, and much bigger tank) - which is one reason why that is the bike of choice for exploring VN. But the Blade is a close 2nd!
