@@TravelingAhn Hey Adam! Thanks so much! I have zero hesitation recommending the iPhone 16 pro. It has great cameras but it’s also a magnificent device that does everything. Apple Log is a game changer for video. Especially when you want to be a little more discreet. I’m using this set up as my Muay Thai camera lol. No one is freaked out by it.
Dude that color grading is incredible. An iPhone 16 Pro truly can be the only camera anyone needs to start vlogging and creating any type of content. It's nuts what's possible which such a small sensor. It's going against physics in so many ways. Awesome video brother.
I really like this kind of spontaneous footage. And it make a lot of difference. You say is inconsistent...yes ok but remember that with your Sony camera you don't shoot in automatic. As you say...so...if you try to shoot with Blackmagic camera app using this iPhone as you using your camera from what I saw in this footage I think you can get a very very very good result. This is my opinion..but what I saw from this video is really makes me think to quit the world of mirrorless camera...lens...extra battery... microphone...sd card..transfer files on computer for stabilize...color grade and everything...and buy this new iPhone...I don't know..what do you think? Am I wrong??
I don’t think you’re wrong. It’s different with everyone. If you’re willing to suffer through the headaches of capturing the perfect footage then I would stick with the a6700. I feel the same way about the Pocket 3...Impressive but Inconsistent. No big files or digital jitters with it though. I think there's a luxury in thinking you may not get the best image quality because you're using your phone or point and shoot because it frees you up to focus on story. The BlackMagic camera app will allow you to go full manual, but most importantly will allow you to choose to record in different flavors of ProRes that have smaller file sizes. I think full Apple Pro Res is for people creating IMAX movies or something. LOL. The ultra-wide is going to give you that long arm effect which I don't like, but the main sensor is much better with that.
