    I really like this kind of spontaneous footage. I wondering if selling my a6700 for this iPhone in these days...in the end after years with Sony the thing I continue to hate most is the stability..when I shoot a video with my iPhone even if it's not a great video at least is stabilized. And it make a lot of difference. You say is inconsistent...yes ok but remember that with your Sony camera you don't shoot in automatic. As you say...so...if you try to shoot with Blackmagic camera app using this iPhone as you using your camera from what I saw in this footage I think you can get a very very very good result. This is my opinion..but what I saw from this video is really makes me think to quit the world of mirrorless camera...lens...extra battery... microphone...sd card..transfer files on computer for stabilize...color grade and everything...and buy this new iPhone...I don't know..what do you think? Am I wrong??

    • @noisackda2564
      @noisackda2564  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t think you’re wrong. It’s different with everyone. If you’re willing to suffer through the headaches of capturing the perfect footage then I would stick with the a6700. If you’re okay with the inconsistencies and slightly lower quality video of the iPhone but value ease of use then the iPhone is for you. Just be repaired to shoot to an external hardrive and also be prepared for long video transfers from those hardrives to your computer.

      @@noisackda2564 Lately I found out that Luma fusion supports 4k 422 10 bit files and you can import luts there. So I transfer the files from the a6700 directly to the phone and work them there now. And I don't understand how it's more fluid on my iPhone 11 than Davinci's on my iMac. It's practically immediate. This is to tell you that you can also avoid this passage now. One last question, have you tried the cinematic mode function? I would be curious to see if the bokeh has been improved

    Hi Noi!
    Congratulations on getting the new iPhone! (Mine is still on the way.)
    I wanted to tell you that I've been researching which camera to buy recently, and I stumbled upon your channel last week. Over the past few days, I’ve watched all your videos. You're an amazing creator, and your videos have given me so much inspiration!
    However, I still haven’t decided which camera to buy, LOL. (I’m super indecisive.) I’d really appreciate it if I could get some advice from you 🙏.
    I'm currently using the Sony a6400, and I’ve had it for over four years now. Lately, I’ve felt that it’s no longer meeting my needs (no 4K 60p, 10-bit, low-light performance, or image stabilization). So, I’ve been considering the FX30, which is also APS-C, or directly upgrading to the EV-E1. Since you’ve been using both cameras for a while, I’d love to know if you had to choose one as your main camera, which would it be? (I know both are great for you!)
    By the way, I currently have a DJI Pocket 3 and an iPhone. I use the DJI for shots requiring a lot of movement.
    Lastly, I just want to say again, you’re an amazing creator, and thank you for inspiring me.

      @@jacoandjoyce appreciate you :) thanks for compliments. Sorry I must have missed this question. If you’re looking for a low light beast with good stability I would go with the ZV-E1. In many ways it’s more user friendly than the FX-30. I feel that the latter is a better camera just simply off build alone. I also prefer the look coming from it better but like I said, it’s harder to use so unless you’re very knowledgeable it might not work the way you want it to. I think that because you shoot on the pocket 3 everything will be a disappointment when it comes to stability. Where the ZV-E1 shines is image quality. It’s super clean. I’ve seen footage coming from the pocket 3 and now the iPhone 16 and although very good, I wouldn’t consider them professional quality. I feel they look a little muddy. The ZV-E1 also sees in the dark. If you’re shooting concerts or night scenes it going to look very clean. I shot at night with an f4 lens and it was still very good. Pair that camera with an f1.4 lens and there’s nothing it can’t shoot. Hope this helps.

    I feel the same way about the Pocket 3...Impressive but Inconsistent. No big files or digital jitters with it though. I think there's a luxury in thinking you may not get the best image quality because you're using your phone or point and shoot because it frees you up to focus on story. The BlackMagic camera app will allow you to go full manual, but most importantly will allow you to choose to record in different flavors of ProRes that have smaller file sizes. I think full Apple Pro Res is for people creating IMAX movies or something. LOL. The ultra-wide is going to give you that long arm effect which I don't like, but the main sensor is much better with that. I've seen people use an apple watch as a monitor as well, even strap it onto their rig. You know, it honestly feels less dorky/common to me to vlog with a larger selfie stick like the Ulanzi MT-44 and connect a shotgun mic than it does with your cellphone in your hand, which seems too Teenage girl TikTok to me.

      @@TimBrownTown ProRez is stupid as heck with their file sizes. I just don’t get how worse image quality can result in larger files. You would think you’re shooting in 8K with Apple. It angers me quite honestly.
      I think the pocket is a better choice than the iPhone for vlogging but as an all-in-one solution there’s nothing that comes close to the iPhone. Crazy how you can shoot, edit, and post from one device.

      @@noisackda2564 I agree. Most of my Disney trip was shot on my Pixel 8 Pro. What separates android and iPhone is noise and jitters in lowlight. Between night sight video and davinci de-noise, similar results. The iPhone is a more mature platform in terms of video, but Android flagships are viable. The iPhones processor is superior and allows them to de-noise in real time for lowlight. This advantage is about to go away next year (I believe).

    Footage looks great... And the file sizes are grand!
    One comparison that would be interesting would be vlogging in auto mode on a 10bit Sony and just color grading to match... As in maybe we overcomplicate the process of filming on our more complicated cameras when we don't need to.
