As a long time acrylic painter--though not necessarily a very good one--I appreciate the reminder to underpaint. I often forget that step and just go straight for flats. I like how you blended the shadows and the highlights on the vase; I think acrylics can be hard to blend compared to watercolors but you did a great job! When you get a little more comfortable with acrylics, I'd challenge you to try painting without water play around with how far you can push the medium perhaps in an unexpected direction.
Beautiful Shayda!!! (I loved the deep orange sketch too). You seem fearless when you paint, I love that. The peonies are gorgeous, and once again the vase is exquisite 🌷

I love that you explain creativity as well as the technical aspects.
A lot of youtubers seem to just explain the technical aspects and so i therby get self conscious about how mine ends up. But when you understand that not each one is going to turn out exactly the same as the TH-camr's version, you can then become more confident about your creativity and how you see things.
