I brought my car to F.I. and had the exhaust system installed on my Z, along with a Stillen gen 3 intake and then had a dyno tune done down the street at Specialty Z. The results were fantastic; it looks and sounds great and I gained about 40 rear wheel hp over stock. My torque increased about 15% over the whole rev range. The guys at Fast Intentions were great and did a quality job on the car.
Does the CBE TDX include replacement hardware for attaching to the cat or is it only intended to use the OG stud/hardware that's on the cat? (Mine is super rusted & melded, the car has like no rust but the exhaust hardware sure does)
Thanks. This is our 12" Resonated X-pipe with 14" Touring Mufflers. Plenty of volume when you step on it, but still mild enough to drive around with every day!
Thanks, you make it look so easy. I currently have one that you're making for my Z that will be shipped up to San Jose for the installation. Question: I noticed that it was said somewhere else that you reuse the old gasket between the lead pipe and the cat; is there a reason for this, as I thought the old gasket would take a set and might not seal fully against the contour of a new pipe. Given the cheap cost of such an item, do you think it would be wise to replace that gasket with a new one?
Hi Tony, another awesome video....just in your opinion...what sounds best to you?? I'm getting your HFC's with your Cat Back Exhaust for a nismo N/A and trying to decide on......12" or 18" resonators?? You've done so many with this set up, so was wondering your expert opinion on what u like best?? Thanks Tony Anybody else's opinion is also welcome ...cheers
