Had an 87 312 Stinger. Your boat brings back lots of memories. Windshield surround was in teak. As was a flat swim platform. Your hatch setup is different as well. Mine only had twin hatches similar to your front two. Solid floor with no fuel tank access. That rear “bulkhead” for the seat where the speakers are on yours. Mine developed stress cracks from stepping from the engine covers to the seat cushions. Play close attention to the engine mounts. They pulled from the stringers. Several times a season the mounts had to be tightened up. Had 92C ? gearboxes. That liked to leak. Subscribing and following to see how yours turns out.
In the 1st season of Miami Vice, the tv show, it used a Chris Craft stinger. Simple maintenance and proper storage of vehicles and boats go a long way. It's damn shame to see a go fast boat or tricked out truck or a muscle car look that sh'tty.
@russellweber4334 that's very interesting because the studio had a contract with Welcraft to build 3 38ft kvs they also built 1 30ft panther which looks just like the 38kv and that one is owned by my buddy Gary. Snapon had one of the 38kvs and it was beat to shit and ended up in Wisconsin and I think the other 38 kv Don took it then sold it. Heard it was in Michigan but not sure. My guess is both got scrapped. So when it's all said and done the panther is the only survivor and I have lots of pics of it. I repowered it with twin 509s many years ago for Gary.
