    I like to leave the skin on herring it has all the good oil in them.

    use the rest for berley and when you are completly finshed feed them to the pelicans

    2 things.
    1)for size of fish its hardly worth the effort.
    2) at 4.18 once filleted dont get rid of the frames keep them for the berley bucket or bait.

      We like them battered or we smoke them whole 😋 and the left overs for burley yep👍

      No, it has firm white flesh that is not dry. I think it is one of the nicest fish to pan fry 😋
