Well that's because he gave the phone to record😢
I'm more than certain everyone is on their phones all the time, not just the Turks. I'm not Turk myself, but I can't go a day without my phone.

The heated sand causes the coffee to expand making it take up more volume and giving it the appearance of replenishing coffee.
Really? I was under the impression that the magic sand was generating more coffee out of thin air
@@WRBhammer that sound stupid
Thank you!! I’ve always wondered.
I go to Greek town in Detroit- there is a hall. That’s around the corner in an alley somewhere. I know how to get there. That is the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. It’s magic how they make it. It taste so different but my gosh is it good!!! No it’s great. I don’t understand why they don’t have more great stops set up with their coffee! They’d make a killing.

This coffee looks delicious 🤤☕
That sand is hot AF and is quite amazing how as he moves the object in the sand it seems to heat that said object up to higher degree . idk pretty cool . Update: it's a Sand Pit and they use it over an open flame allows total control over the heat . Cups left in the surface stay warm but heat can be adjusted by the depth of the coffee in the sand aka boiling coffee 🔥🔥🔥🔥
that's the reason I came to the comments. Hoping for an explanation how the f**k did that happen. soooo cool!
FINALLY 😏
@@noneyabusiness1565 I'm tryna figure it out myself 😂
Seeing the whole process from start to finish makes it easier to understand how the cup seems to "magically" fill itself back up from empty.
I feel like I'd start seeing stars after that first sip. Sheesh.
Wow I have never seen a TH-cam short with something in it let alone something so detailed
I wanna drink some thick coffee made in sand now
Me too!!!
The first time I had real Turkish coffee I thought my heart was going to short circuit.
And this is too good .xd
My first taste was in the mideast. Loved it and still do. Got myself an ibrik to made at home. Yumm.
Its just hot sand that boils the liquid with the sugar and coffee boils air starts to displace the liquid making it appear to fill up. So it seems like a never ending cup. It gets foamy which is why it seems like a lot more. Very tasty though. Turkish and Greek coffees are the best.
Sugar with cardamom?? woohoo fancy, I'm in love
I had coffee from a Turkish house in Sedona and it was so exquisite. Put every “coffee” I’d ever had in 50 years to shame. ❤
As a Turk, I know that Turkish coffee is not made like this, real Turkish coffee is more foamy than this and the coffee is always added first and the water is never mixed while it is hot, it cooks on its own over the fire.
On a golden plate 10/10
Thankyou I would say it's a realy good way of making ther own coffy
Turkish hot sand coffee is simply the best coffee I’ve ever had.
The reason it is sand, it is not exposed to direct fire. Cooking slowly is the secret.
It's not magic, it's science
Simply put, it's magic.
Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had

Always gave it me when I went to the Turkish barbers deffo a real bitter taste
Wonderful, can just smell it from here.
Not magic the sand is very hot and if touched by metal the heatness transfer to the metal but what i'm saying is, and i will try to simplify it and what i'm saying is that when the coffee is boiled it makes more water if i'm right. Thank you for reading this and have a wonderfull day

I understand that the sand is hot but does it do anything for the taste of the coffee? I genuinely want to know 😀. It’s looks so beautiful
I might be wrong but that looks like instant cofee
Looks so delicious
Yes would be helpful how the sand would burn on the stove whatever it is that making so hot but this is not actual natural sand that is on the ground because the sand in the ground if it's hot it could make a coffee
How? It looks so good
That's like the amount of coffee I drink in 2 whole months 💀
I need to try this!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤
And so it was that a coffee cost him €100
that's a strong coffee....
My dude brewing Turkish coffee is literally hell like it's totally chilling and suddenly bursts up like a volcano and you have to time it just right to get some nice foam on top but w/o spilling half the drink and burning yourself on scorching water. This man's got some INSANE talent and timing skills, truly impressive! 👌
All this effort for a sip of coffee💀
I’d like 4 cups.
Nothing beats a french press
A channel named Percepta Analytica has a great video on coffee

As a Turk I can confirm we have a coffe generator
Im still trying to figure out how its happening is that sand and is it hot and how is the cup filling with coffee just by running around sand. How is this possible
Agua , Nescafé y azúcar ...menos de un dólar pero como hacen un show con la arena mínimo te cobran 5 dólares por esa pequeña taza ...
from my knowledge i think it's because the sand is just hot that it made the coffee boil and that id why it's like a magic but at 1 point it will just ran out but idk i'm brain dead
Pretty sure you just handed that person a cup of pure coke... 😮
Bruh that coffee is so pure it looks like chocolate syrup 💀

I stumbled onto a local Turkish restaurant a decade ago. They had a traditional coffee "bar", it was the best coffee, I became good friends with the owners. We would smoke a hooka and sip coffee and talk about work problems. After the owner passed away suddenly it was never the same place

The sand thing is done for tourists, I am a 22 year old Turk and have never seen it cooked in sand personally. I drink Turkish coffee every day and we just cook it in the little pan (cezve) he uses in the video over the stove. This is sth done in tourist attractions. That’s seems like a beautiful experience to drink that coffee. I can only imagine the aroma.
the flavor is nce, but its weird mouthfeel, like sand, they dont remove the coffee grounds
It kinda tastes like espresso coffee but a bit stronger. Like already mentioned the coffee ground is not removed. Most of it lays down 9n the bottom of the cup but while drinking you still get fine coffee grind in your mouth.
Don't know where you live but if you have a Turkish community in the city check Turkish supermarkets or maybe look for an online shop.
