Of all the reading of the manuals and watching videos, yours is the only one that mentions putting the PTO cable UNDER the belt. Thank you.

A trick in changing the blades without removing the deck is to put the tractor on a pair of ramps. From there, just crawl underneath and unbolt the blade bolts. In my case, 46" has 2 blades and the 50" I believe has 3 blades.

This spring I'm going to be using my Cub Cadet for hauling fill dirt and stone for a project around the house and would like to do so with the deck removed. Do you know what you do with the PTO cable/spring? Is there a place to secure it so it doesn't get caught in something or damaged while the deck is off? After my project is done I'll be putting the deck back on for mowing season. I've seen many videos on how to remove and replace the deck but none of them give this last little bit of information. Thanks!

This is the best video I've seen for this. Cub Cadet's video is 90 seconds and skips several steps. Your video is thorough and easy to follow. Saved me a giant headache. Thanks!

This was an AWESOME video. My husband isn't keen on doing this kind of thing, but your instructions were so precise that I was able to do it. I had some trouble with the pins, because I didn't have the strength in my hands so my husband helped. Do you have a video on leveling the deck or changing the blades? I've read the instructions in the manual but I tend to be a visual learner. Great job! :)

Yeah, the pins were a pain to get off the first time I did it, too.
I've not had a need to level the deck yet, but I do have a video on changing the blades: th-cam.com/video/pxg8Zzj3ICI/w-d-xo.html (might be a little bit too much filler and not enough content in that one).
It's a pretty simple process, though you'll likely need a breaker bar to get the bolts off.

My wife has never touched a mower. Her father told her southern women didn’t do that type of work and here you are doing maintenance on a mower. You have a very lucky husband, he should be happy and proud plus he should pamper you all the time. I do love my southern woman
