If you prefer the ride of a street-type wheel, I think the Meepo 105s Cyclone Wheel or Mad Wheel is a must-experience wheel. And I think those two wheels were manufactured in the same place, and everything was so similar.
I'm glad you're making sound recordings as well as video footage. We can hear the very slightly different road rumble sound as compared to the MAD Wheels and it doesn't sound as loud as ALL Terrain MBS wheels
Was it? I don't think it was enough to feel the difference when actually riding... But there was definitely a little louder sound compared to normal PU wheels from the good grip when carving. Thank you for watching bro~
Good review of Meepo's Cyclone wheels. They have recently arrived to try them, but I have not been able to try them yet, they seem very very good!! Regards my friend!!!
Thanks for sharing and comparing. Much appreciated. What's with 102mm wheels being labelled as 105mm! Also, how do they perform on rough roads? Every road you're on is butter smooth. I'm envious😆
Thank you for watching :) and... Personally, I don't think this wheel is for rough road use. The 110mm cyclone wheel may be more suitable for use on rough roads.
⚡ *I love esk8 wheel videos!* 😁⚡ Nice to see them side by side with Mad wheelz but from the comments it looks like Mad wheelz have a little somethin somethin cookin and comin soon, I'm lookin forward to that! 🤙🏼
Thank you for measuring the actual diameter of the wheels! I don't know why the manufacturers report inaccurate data. For instance the Meepo so called 110mm diameter Cyclone wheels are really 106mm. They are great wheels and I fully intend to get a new set when these wear out but I don't appreciate the inaccurate measurements. I too had to find the correct wheel speed number, which is 97 on my belt driven Meepo Voyager. I compared a known distance on Google maps to odometer readings on my Meepo remote and with trial and error I derived the above wheel speed number. Perhaps I wouldn't have to do that if Meepo reported the correct diameter in the first place.
@@KAMiJUINs True, but I still had to ignore the stated diameter and recommended wheel speed number to get it to be in harmony with what I was getting on Google maps. I know there will always be some inaccuracy even if comparing it directly to GPS readings. Still if the manufacturer states that a wheel is a certain diameter or any other measurement, it should be that measurement on principle.
Great video and wheels! I ride the AT Meepo cyclone wheels with 110s/ 68A is very smooth and grippy !! But this is a little bit harder with 72 A but nice!! 😀😃
My preferred truck combination these days is DKP on the front and TKP on the rear. I think this is a setting that takes both flexibility and stability.
@@KAMiJUINs Thank you for your feedback. I've heard the RKP setup as used on the ONSRA Velar turns and carves very well, but also seems very stable. What are your thoughts on this setup (I have no experience with RKP)? I absolutely love my Titan X, but I can see a need for a tighter turning radius from time to time.
thank you for this video!! how do they feel going over cracks and bumpy roads? where I live the roads are mixed, currently using cloudwheels but i like PU wheels on smooth roads more, unfortunately PU wheels are unsafe here with deep cracks >
@@KAMiJUINs thanks. That’s a shame considering those pulleys have a slower top end speed. Was hoping this wheels would increase my speed without affecting acceleration from my 90mm street wheel setup. Right now I’m topping out At 30mph in perfect ideal conditions on my Voyager. The torque is one of my favorite things as the wheels spins on heavy acceleration loads.
@@KAMiJUINs Update: went ahead with this setup and achieved a 5mph increase with 105S Wheels, 32T Pulley's and 245 Belts. Acceleration in Speed Mode 4 is still very aggressive and loses traction upon heavy throttle. Once the belts stretch a little and pulleys settle in I am anticipating even better results.

Thank you. We don't get MAD wheels in UK so this is perfect as they ship to UK.🙂
Oh, Now i know that! I'm glad it was helpful :)
Same here to New Zealand, MAD wheels miss out I guess 😢
@@stephenhartley3292 looks like more manufacturers will be doing the same. i'd much rather by for MADESK8 just to support him but hey ho

Great work like always!
Thank you foe watching , brother~ as always :)
It's crazy how years later boosted still has influence on esk8
Pretty sure the factory designed them. Not boosted.
@@boneheadnumber1409 what about the original versions that boosted came out with?
Great Rwview and comparison 👏 Respect as always 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Even if the diameter is the same as the notation, most remote and GPS have a slight speed difference. Just let you know~

Yeah, 110mm wheels are good to use here and there, but I think the 105s performance was much better on the pavement~
Hey did you change the pulleys and belts for the cyclones 105. Or you just installed them with the 90mm belts
You don't need to change anything when you swap the 105 wheel

Have you tried these vs Hollow Wheels yet?
so nice 😍
Thank you~ :)
Thanks for reviewing. I’m really interested in getting the momentum hollow wheels ( either pro or comfort version)
Have you heard of them ?
I've heard of them and had a chance to review them. Unfortunately, however, it was canceled because I replied too late.
Thank you for watching :)
All these wheels were manufactured from the boosted 105s production line that verreal acquired awhile back.
I expected that, too. Thank you for letting me know~
Can the 105S Cyclones be used with the 32T Pulleys and 245-5m belt on the Voyager?
You can use it. However, torque may be felt as insufficient, so it is recommended to use with 36T or 40T.

Any vibrations or weird sound when riding at slow speeds?
No, it didn't. And even I didn't have that symptom when I used the Mad Wheel
Can the bearings be removed on the Meepo 105? Purpose is to be used with 10mm trucks
yeah, that's possible~ and MAD wheel too.
@@KAMiJUINs on the older Meepo cyclone I can’t seem to remove the bearings. The new Meepo cyclone looks to have the same bearings that’s why I asked
Good review bro 😊🤙
Thank you bro~ :)
Are these wheels better then the original 110 cyclone wheels? Wondering which you prefer. I have both
For me... definitely the 105mm :)
Do you prefer the cyclone 105 or 110?
105mm :)
boosted105?
It was almost same. I think it's made by the same manufacturer~
