The most epic outro solo in decades no one can touch mastodon. Everything about them just screams legendary and the best part of it is all four of them are just humble, goofy ass guys just out to make music money is a secondary and popularity is the furthest thing from their minds. I never seen a video, or what that band looked like, but always listened to their music. This band is a whole new level of Progressive metal. I think this band is a future hall of fame band in my eyes. Hope they reach that level of success.

Instrumentally, they are unique, no band can compare anything to that. Vocally is where they lack the bulge in but they are improving dramatically with it for example with Crack the Skye. However, live, they sound exactly like they do on studio records. Check 'em out live!

This is honestly probably Brann's best song. It sounds like he's laying the fills onto the track with the same level of grace as one of those parachutes from gym class gently falling to the floor
