What I also do is, I take the seat off before the wash put micro fibre cloth on battery and leky installation and close the seat. My 2011 street triple always let little bit of water in there and it seems to absorb it all
The action of the dirt is removed with the product plus a detail brush. As you say just stand back, only if you had electric issues or older bikes can a problem arise. The K4 have metal pumps just empty the water when stored off the ground.
I use the Muc-off pressure washer and absolutely love it.. good tip about staying away from bearings and electronics! Whilst the one I have is more bike friendly I’m always carful with how close I get. I just love getting her wet and spraying her with the white stuff. It’s therapeutic 😄💦
