Directions to difficult to find remote camping at Mouth of the Two Hearted River State Campground on Lake Superior in Michigan's amazing Upper Peninsula... DA YOOP!!!!
We watched both your videos before going here in Oct. 2023! Thank You so much for the in depth informative video! We stayed at site #3 and ended up extending our stay due to excellent rockhounding opportunities! Aloha from Flat Rock Michigan!
That is awesome and being honest your comment makes me want to go back but probably at the time of year YOU visited. LOL Much much better time to go when remembering the black flies on our trip there!! all the best
Thank You for this Awesome video! We're headed to the campground in 2 days! Can't tell you how grateful we are for your detailed directions to get there! I saw the previous video of how to get there without getting lost! Aloha from Flat Rock, MI!!
@@bone101ify I bet you are going to like it - even if a bit chilly. I am pretty darn sure the directions I read in this video and the video prior will get you there but please please consider getting a map too. I would feel terrible if I somehow made a mistake in the directions and caused you any grief on what should be a fantastic trip. All the best and safe happy travels!
The passport pass is a Michigan thing for state parks and forests. I think many other states do them as well. Michigan residents pay a small amount extra for it when they register vehicles. The rest of us have to buy them. They cost 39 bucks for the year, which is good because otherwise it is like $11 per day at those places. I bought mine this year at a state park and last year I bought it online and they mailed it to me in Ohio. Hope that helps.
Crisp point lighthouse so close..Just a bad gravel road away, but worth it...Safe travels..
We went near it but didn't take the road to it
A real adventure right from the get go! Finding the place can be a challenge! Lol! But obviously worth the effort!
I agree!

You need a map of Luce County as you stated or a Michigan Gazeteer.

Excellent review of campsites thank you, does this campground get full often during the summer?
I'm heard it can but "usually" they say you can get in. It is really out there and an interesting drive to get there.
