Already chose. SIG P365. Nothing beats its size for capacity in 9mm except maybe a GX4 that would be about the same size and capacity but the GX4 does not have the option of a manual safety. Most everything else is bigger even if only slightly. Good comparison. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Yeah the sig is probably the best of the 3 if you can afford one

I’ve had the p365 it’s a great gun but I went and bought a CSX new and I love it a lot better then the 365. Mine doesn’t have the false reset trigger. Idk what everyone is complaining about the CSX trigger unless they ironed out the trigger issues because mine shoots perfectly

My CSX trigger has been 100%. I think I shoot the 365 a little better though. They’re both really good

P365 for me. Shot the Ruger the worst, except for when I would throw shots with the CSX which I attributed to the heavier trigger (in Ohio), which is a me problem. Recoil is super tame with the CSX though (to me), but the tradeoff for that is the much heavier carry weight. I like the GX4 more than the 365 though, but 365 more than Hellcat (if I recall correctly). I still need to try like 5 other micro 9's, but I'm settled on carrying my .30 Super Carry Shield +...

@@BuckeyeBallistics I expected you to give a more thorough answer :)
I think the takeaway is, any of these are viable, out of the three, the P365 is probably the best if you can afford it. I think I shoot the Max-9 better than the CSX. I love that the CSX is a hammer fired metal frame, and it’s reliable, but I’m still a little disappointed every time I shoot it.

@@crankygunreviews Yeah all of them are just fine and will get the job done inside of 20 yards everytime. And I felt the same way about the CSX- I expected it to be great and smoke the polymer guns, but it was just... meh.

@@crankygunreviews did you watch others reviews on the csx before you reviewed it? ….it seems like many reviewers talk about issues of guns that they didn’t personally have but issues that others had and that makes me wonder how much people are biased before they shoot a gun …
As an example nobody reviews a Taurus based on the guns performance but on the name. Opposite is true for Glock. Many reviews a gun based on their bias of a thumb safety.
The csx never get mentioned for being American made by an American company or that you can visually look at it see if it’s cocked and that makes it safer gun plus it can’t be fired with the hammer down since it’s a SA. The insurance of it being drop safe when cocked or when not cocked due to it being SA or when it’s cocked due to the trigger safety. Nobody test that and especially since we know Sigs have had issues with that performance. I own a 365 and never had an issue but Sigs safety reputation concerns me but that gun shoots great. I don’t like that I can’t rack it with the safety on and I can’t ride the hammer when holstering it and Sig is not American

@@francostacy7675 I did watch other videos, but some of the issues they had with triggers not resetting correctly etc I did not see when I help my gun in the store. Also, many reviews are subjective- I often don;t listen to movie reviews because peoples backgrounds will affect how the like or dislike anything, and Iike to make my own mind up about something. I often have differing opinions on things, including guns.
I do like that Smith has allowed a lot of the new models to be cocked with the safety on- I think it adds a layer of safety for UNLOADING as much as loading. Drop the mag, keep safety on, rack slide to clear- no chance of the firing pin being struck... the Bodyguard 2.0 is the same.
I like many guns that people either call crappy (for no apparent reason) or think are below them because they are "cheap" or lesser know brands... Case in point, as you said, Taurus- the G3C I have has run great through over 700 rounds- only had a coulple "duty grade" rounds that took 2 or 3 strikes to fire because of hard primers. Otherwise, ALL factory ammo I have run through it has functioned great, with no stoppages. I also LOVE the Stoeger STR9- was $250 with 2 mags, optics cut, and has been 100% flawless in operation, very accurate, and feels great in the hand. It is a Turkish made Glock. IMO better than a Glock- more ergonomic, and half the price. The Smith and Wesson SD series pistols many people crap on them because theyre cheap, and have long heavy triggers... Well, with cheap spring kits the trigger weight is much better, and they have long triggers because they are self defense guns, and have no safeties (which I am ok with)
Long and short, I don't always follow what people say- I want to try it for myself and make my own mind up. The CSX is a great gun, but it was a little underwhelming.

@@crankygunreviews do you consider a gun is from an American company and made on American soil by American workers or is that not a factor?
