KORE Essentials 1.5” CCW belt and Gunmetal buckle. Do you even think about the belt you use for CCW?
KORE reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try out one of their CCW belts and give an honest review.
I have turned down a few free offers from other suppliers, I only want things I plan to use. I think this belt will be a good addition to my daily routine, and I will report back after a few weeks of daily usage.

I just found this video. Excellent find and thanks for sharing. If only that gun could talk. The only change that Ithaca made internally was after 1940 they added a top extractor because of extraction problems of the fired shell the mod 17 had a problem with that at times. I have several Ithaca 37’s my favorite pump shotgun and an older one I have was not ejecting the fired shell all the time. After reading a very good book on the history of the mod 37 Ithaca I found my problem, the top extractor was missing. I called Ithaca in Sandusky Ohio and ordered one, problem fixed. Great belts! I use one everyday. They give excellent support to the weight of a handgun (or anything else you may carry on a belt). They are a bit pricey, but they work great. They will keep even a heavy handgun close to the body and help conceal it easier. It took me a little while to get used to how the buckle works, but now it is 2nd nature. I also like the fact that they are "infinitely adjustable". You aren't confined to using holes in the belt every 1" or so. You can get the perfect fit for any clothing you use them with. BTW, I carry all my handguns with a leather OWB holster with belt loops at 3 o'clock. The holster stays on the belt with the gun. I personally don't care for IWB carry or clip on holsters...but I am sure the belt works just as well with those also

Looking good. These are great old guns! You made a fantastic deal on it. The finger grooves will stay in good shape as long as they are kept out of high heat & freezing cold for long period of time. People that stored them in the attic often find them warped or broken. If at some point you'd like to remove the oil stain on the front of the forearm there are many videos available showing how to lift that oil from the stock using alcohol
