I think you've done well there.. regardless of what they grade at... I've got a Gillick 68 that I bought about eighteen years ago ... from old photos it looks to be same sort of condition as your first coin...
been thinking about grading many Sovs , but when I looked at another "well known grading agents NGC forms" I got an instant headache .. I mean why so many questions! 😵‍💫

I offer NGC grading via the silver forum in have submitted 1000’s of coins, the process of doing it yourself can be tricky but it’s very expensive paying for membership and just sending the odd coins as the return shipping alone is a min of £39.00

@@golddiggerdave O.k I'll head over to the forum at some point.. do you have a date in mind for when your sending a batch off to NGC ?

Dave's grading service is top notch! I've sent over 100 coins his way, even had some conserved by him and got PF69/70s :)

Yes, a good quality batch of coins, if the 59 grades well I'll be happy, I don't mind getting a mix of grades as they are a handy to have bench mark.

Nice coins but is it worth the cost of grading bullion sovereigns

It’s a very tricky question, depends on the quality and the grade of the coin, also worth looking at the NGC population reports to give you a feel for the scarcity of some of these coins, they need to hit MS65+ MS66 to be more sought after.

Yes it's worth grading if they loupe well. A 1957 MS66 are going for £1700 on latest CC auctions. Well above bullion value.

    1) MS 66 (2) MS65 (3) MS67 (4) MS66 (5) MS68.😊

      Not bad for bullion money!
