Did you realise that the 1871 you graded is a very rare variety? only 5 to 10 known speciman strikes known to exist today?
Welcome back Digger Dave 😎👍🏽 Is the bu coin going to ngc?
i have one
How much do you charge per coin?
@@KYHStacking depends on the coin you can contact me at dave@golddiggercoins.com
That is a beautiful coin Dave 👍thanks for showing us Dave 🇬🇧
That is a beautiful design and a beautiful made coin 🏴⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ keep up the great work Dave, much appreciated 👍🥇
Great work Dave! Is all that dirt caused by handling the coin or does it happen from just being in the capsule? Thanks Dave 👍
I collect Piedforts 999 Silver ones, they are 2oz ones I buy e.g. Harry Potter etc., they are very heavy when 62.82g and mintage is 350 for the world, that's extremely low, 10 x less than the standard issue of 3,500, they made a 5oz of Harry himself, not sure what they call that 2.5 Piedforts & 1 in 5oz of The Hogwarts Express, not sure if they made any other 5oz ones but they are very heavy and better value for money standard 1oz cost £139 2oz Piedforts cost £239 & 5oz cost £529 from The Koin Market all New Proof Coins from a dealer with full packaging (including the brown cardboard box) unless your a member of the Royal Mint club, you won't get them from the Royal Mint because they allow the dealers to buy large amounts (not fair really) but that's life 😂 I don't think you pay much more anyway and you can buy only the ones you like, rather than every coin they make. The Royal Mint beautiful coins in base metal, silver & Gold! 😂😅
super
The original East Indian company, was the most evil company to ever exist
👍👍👍
Soveregns gold coins are fake gold, try weighing the coin to know, look at the tail of the coin to know the gold is fake.
I have one coin year 1928
Nice looking at your halfsovereigns. A private solder in the trenches earned a shilling a day. So they got seven shillings a week. With overtime in the trenches they would get about ten shillings, a half sovereign.
My first gold was 5g goldbar second was 1/10 gold eagle type 1 and then half soverign 1911 and now i just stack soveriegns
I just got my first quarter sovereign and I was shocked how small it was 😮 my next big is a half I think. I mainly stack silver
My favourite I have the original in au grade ngc ❤
Beautiful coin
Where to get?
nice coin, thanks for the video........
That is a nice coin…
Its a beautiful bit of silver.
Just love that reverse. All time classic
Superb, Dave.
Quality of that is 100% better than the 2oz Silver that I received.
your not registered or qualified to play with coins and to charge people is unbeliebable tell people the truth your not authourised by NGC to do conservation like nike gardener is making out on bullion bullion bullion
why did you block me PO box 937 preston PR49DH
hi are you registered / Authorised by NGC to do conservation on coins thanks
? NGC don’t authorise people…….But to try and answer the question I have conserved millions of pounds worth of coins and undertake conservation work for several large dealers.
would it be fair to say your a registered business and or insured for the work you carry out@@golddiggerdave

I have for since 1903
How did that pass QC!
Considering the (lack of) quality of Royal Mint coins in recent years, I doubt there's still any QC in place anymore...
Blud, GO TO THE VAULT U GOT THE MEDALLION
It a beauty 😂
Or return it for a refund or replacement ;-)
Worth more as an error coin!
@@golddiggerdave I know ;-) but If I received my coffee table one side fatter than the other I wouldn't be too impressed. Don't give these mints, especially royal mint the leeway because you can get more for it. What a joke. Hold them accountable.
That’s an awesome transformation.
Was very unattractive, not perfect .... was happy with the removal of the overall orange red tone on the coin.
Looking good, best case scenario for that coin. Always satisfying to one's desire for order, seeing the end result.
Can’t beat the 1989!
1989 is nice but like this coin it wasn’t liked and the rm struggled to sell them, was only until a good few years later and collectors fell in love with them.
Liz got a beard! 🧔♀️
The Butlers can tone quite badly, strange as other sovereigns around this time don't react so badly.....Other coins like the 2016 proof are the 2019 gold proof 50p's they can tone very bad in a very short time.

cheers bud!
Yes indeed, the pinnacle in sovereign design.
What's your favourite Britannia year Dave?
I like the proof 1997 Britiania riding the chariot.
@golddiggerdave 🤣🤣.... that makes 2 of us. I have the full set in gold and silver. The Maklouf is my portrait and I prefer the 22ct as well so it's the perfect Brittania coin in my humble opinion 👌
Great work 👏
I think 22.50 is expensive, NGC charge less!!!
Minimum postage back from NGC is £36 and do they offer conservation only? If you think £22.50 including return insured delivery is expensive in a hobby where many collectors have and spend £100,000's per year maybe this is not for you....... you cement my reasons why I don't sell and deal with people on ebay. The cost to get NGC to professionally conserve a single coin and post it back to you for less than £22.50? £13 for the submission, £10 for a single modern, (£17 for a pre 1965) (£21 for anything thing over £2,500) £5 to return the capsule and then £36 to post back.......That for a single coin is £ 64, if you pay £299 per year then you get 10% off some not all costs, it takes the £64 to £63 to my calculation. ..........I should be charging a lot more........
Use NGC then 🤷♂️

NCS/NGC have ruined no less than 3 of my proofs with dried solvent spots. Dave improved them 1 or 2 grades afterwards. He also managed to bump up 3 of them to PF70. He conserves customer coins as if they were his own. Leagues ahead of NCS which work by volume and rush each piece.
There's always one who thinks he/she knows it all 😂 & we found um, Dave does far better work @ a fraction of the cost! Keep up the good work Dave 👍🥇
The 2014 is a terrific and sexy design.
Really interesting video, glad you got the certification
Its a proof
I have to ask the obvious question: why would someone grade a bullion coin?
Oh gosh Dave!!! ❤
Cracking proof, Dave. Lovely.
Lovely shield back sovereign,
Amazing coin 🔥
