When both parents are working, the best bet is to enrol the kid in a reputed crèche ..nowadays most offices have this facility of daycare.. otherwise if you need to appoint maid, do so with thorough background verification.. having grandparents around is a great idea.. sadly nowadays that has become a luxury that most people can’t afford.. you cannot expect your parents to leave everything and stay with you till your child becomes old enough to be sent to school.. so in the current situations, workplace and society have to support the working parents..
The situation portrayed is perfect, not only maids but even parents/grandparents also neglect these children. I personally know families where mothers are more interested to rejoin their high paying jobs and they mostly do within 3-4 months of delivery, the baby is handed over to the in laws to look after, and here too discrimination is done. If the baby is a male child, everyone would be behind him but if the child is a girl, even grandparents don't care whether the child is feeling hungry or not. Such kids feel loneliness at all times, they miss their parents badly, health is deteriorated, can't focus on anything, has no one to share their feelings with.
Always remember parents.. no one will take care of your child as you do.

I totally connected to this video. My son was left with a neighbour who ran a daycare with several other children too. She behaved very nicely with us but behind our back ill treated my son. My inlaws never came to help as they were taking care of my BIL's son.
My parents couldn't stay full time as they stayed in a different city n my dad had a business to run.
My son showed same symptoms of under nourishment, depression, anger issues etc. Ultimately I left my job n took care of him. Yes, I gave up my financial independence, but looking at him thrive made up for the sacrifice. Today he's 14 yrs old n appreciated in school n by neighbours n friends to be very humble, loyal n hard working child. He wins scholarships n school awards but is equally helpful towards academically weak students. These qualities would not have been possible if he grew up with a maid. So to all ladies in turmoil of whether to leave job or not for child, my advice is that try to take help from grandparents. But if that's not possible then take the big step n care for your child n the end result will definitely be worth it.

Kids should be taken care of by both parents not just one. Grandparents are there but shouldn’t be taken advantage of. Majority of the old mentality needs to change I am a man I work. I am a woman I need to stay in the kitchen and take care of the kids. This is not right. A great husband, man, son will know when to take charge and step in so the household could run smoothly. It is up to the father to teach there son how to behave towards the wife, kids, mother and sisters.
