Thanks so much! It's a fantastic action camera with some really fun unique features. I was talking with my creator friends who have one and they really like it too 👌
What’s the low light of the insta Ace? As these are actually more similar price to the GoPro 🤔 keep things fair, if I spend £100 more I expect it to beat the GoPro obviously
Have a Hero 12, tempted by Ace Pro mostly for the low light capability. But that non-removable lens cover is an absolute deal breaker. I don't want to have to baby my camera while I'm on the go. It's really annoying, because I have both an Insta360 X3 (which has replaced my GoPro MAX) and a GO 3 (for use as a discreet life logger while I'm out & about) and I love the Insta360 software environment. Insta360, get your act together on your action camera!!

Would love to see the Ace Pro up against the Action 4. Also, can the Ace Pro work with the DJI mics w/ that USB-C port? I assume it can work with the Mic 2 via Bluetooth though.
The AI editing part with the ACE Pro is a really nice touch! The rendering is mind-blowing!!! The Hero 12's image quality in good light looks overall better but I think a little brightness and contrast added to ACE Pro "raw" image would improve the quality. I am going with the ACE Pro.
Thank you for answering about the glass not being replaceable. It's an action camera. This is the reason I won't be purchasing it. Appreciate the review & information.
I upgraded my GoPro 11 to ace pro. Big mistake. My ace pro stabilisation doesn’t work. I have run 3 ultra marathons with it and it’s like an old GoPro 6. Insta have been very unhelpful. I have been talking to them for over a week and they have been so unhelpful and won’t admit my camera is a dud.

It is about specs when it comes to low light or ability to zoom on the sensor. In this regard Insta360 kills the GoPro. GoPro's low light video is barely usable.
The external mic support is better (if it works well) on the Ace pro and it's adapter is only 19 bucks and allows USB C power passthru. Can't do that alt all with the action 4 and the gopro mic dongle is 50 bucks.
