Hi, Mike. Nice looking case. On a different subject, AI kind of saved my bacon today. I few months ago I upgraded a friend's PC, and they gave me their old Gigabyte Z390 Arous motherboard with a 9700K CPU and two sticks of DDR4 Corsair RAM. I finally cleaned the parts today and put them in a case. Everything looked good, but when I tried to start it, the troubleshooting lights began blinking a pattern I wasn't familiar with. So I opened ChatGTP and carefully explained what the lights were doing. ChatGTP was able to tell me it was most likely a RAM issue. I swapped out the crappy Corsair RAM with a pair of Patriot Viper sticks, and it booted. I think everyone who works with PCs should sign into ChatGTP, as it's a great tool for diagnosing PC problems.
Hey mike just want to say huge thanks. Just finished building my first pc , and everything went without a hiccup! Also premiumcdkey is crazy! 5 bucks for windows license i was so suprised. Definitely 👍
Premium CD Keys is a fantastic site and we use them all the time in fact bought a Windows 10 key yesterday for extremely good price and was very quick hope you enjoy your new PC
I absolutely LOVE this case !!! Loads of space to build in and cable manage and it looks good, even when its filled up with that pesky RGB stuff thats all the rage nowerdays ;-) Thanks Mike and Kath.
It's a decent case from Thermaltake but for value and performance nothing beats the Montech Air 903 Base. I bought it at the end of last year for £52/$65/60 euro. I recently did a build in a Fractal XL North and the build quality was no better than on the Montech. And it's a case (up here) more than three times as expensive, around £170
Love my Ceres300 case but smitten with this update. Love the idea of cables hidden, esp the mustard audio cable! If the 180deg gpu connectors are a guide, 90deg will be an easy solution. Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 🐈👍 Rite time to board pkane so back for live stream hurrah!😎
While your on the topic of cases, you should checkout and review the following cases: Lian li v3000,Fractal design meshify XL, Fractal design define 7, Fractal design define 7 XL. Oh remember Mike mechanical drives are not dead 💀 or dying! They are very much alive!
Am really interested in how the GPU connects to the MB , shame you didn't go over that and show the GPU connector and the MB connection .. with this been a new standard on the way !
Depending on which manufacturer you go with the gpu connectivity is either exactly as it is for normal atx as is the case with the msi project 0 but with the asus back to front design some of the motherboards have a additional slot next to the PCI express graphics slot which then takes power directly from the 12 volt high power that plugs into the back of the board. This is still very much a work in progress for the manufacturers and the industry at large so it'll be interesting to see which standard stick and which ones get left behind
I understand what you mean there is something about this case which stops it looking more premium but I can't quite put my finger on it it might be the scoop at the front or possibly the round holes for the air flow section which I think should be hexagonal rather than circular. I think you're right as well that the top should be removable that would be helpful especially when using a traditional atx motherboard and a top mounted all in one cpu cooler to allow easier access to the EPS area
i dont understand why case manufacturers dont make a round cut for the fans so that there is no obstruction for the air intake.i have this case and ive put 140mm arctic fans at the front and because of the brackets it makes a tubulance noise.for someone looking on a silent build this is not the best case.
@@mikesunboxing Thanks, The clips holding the front panel do not seem very sturdy. Do you think that the front panel may become loose as the clips wear out over time?
I really with they would stop including fans. They nearly always become instant trash. If its not PWM, I throw them out, if they are RGB I throw them out (I know im weird, I hate rgb). They really need to start giving an option for no fans included on case purchases and allowing me to simply buy what i want in there.

my favourite new microsoft tool is the Windows key and H to allow voice to text for replying to youtube questions and emails.
@@mikesunboxing I didn't know about that. I may have to buy a microphone and try it for novel writing.

360 aio will fit but it is tight and you won’t be able to have a rear exhaust fan installed

haha rgb rainbow puke all the way :-)

i like the montech air 903, simple and functional. there should be more of that on the market in my opinion

hopefully reversed connection motherboards will be more widely available so this fad doesn't pass by

those cases are all way too big for us here in the tiny UK houses

I do like Thermaltake, but this looks cheap to me..
I don't like the top, better if it was removeable..
Another great video, thanks..

If this is the Stormtrooper Pc case.
then Mike most be Lord Mike Vader 😛

@@mikesunboxing I understand it's for poor people. that can't pay the electricity bill 😛
How strong is the metal parts of the case? I heard in a few user comments that they are easy to bend and bend.
i would say they are pretty solid, you would have to be pretty ham fisted to bend them in any meaningful way

Can you tell me the lcd kit of 3.9 inches you are talking about. Is the one for 500 compatible with 300 and 330 as well?
yes it works with them all
But does a 3.5 HDD fit this time?
The Ceres 300 has no clearance for that, the panel bends
yes the 300 and 330 can hold a 3.5" drive, my son has the 300 and has a 3.5" drive in the back
@mikesunboxing Huh, the side panel is not bulging?
Hi What is the difference TG 300
the 300 doesn't have matching front panel and no rear connect motherboard support
@@mikesunboxing thanks this case or corsair 4000d airflow rgb or bequit 500dx wich one is best air flow
Could it be stuck when we insert the 3.5 HDD to the side and close the lid?
it might be a close tolerance but shouldn't get completely stuck, maybe a wire or something is trapped somewhere
@@mikesunboxing thanks, Have you tried installing a 3.5 HDD on the side of the case?
@@evo161aor3 yes me son has the Ceres 300 and has a 2.5 and 3.5 installed back there
front panel all plastic ?
