    Dear sir, you are THE only person on the internet who actually reviewed this case for real. Even better than the manufacturer, and every other reviewer.
    The fact that you revealed that it can take a microATX mobo is such a saver. I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for you!
    Thanks a million ❤

    • @DouglasWhitcomb
      @DouglasWhitcomb ปีที่แล้ว

      In all honesty, how noisy does it get under load?

    • @mahmoodtahoon1335
      @mahmoodtahoon1335 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@DouglasWhitcomb Not anmoying at all. In fact, my friends were shocked how quite it is compared to other gaming PCs. Now I don't have a decibel meter gadget to measure noise levels. But trust me, there's plenty of room for air to move around, and plenty of fan mounting options on that case. I have Sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX (HUGE CARD).... I live in Dubai, so ambient temperature is never less than 23.5 - 26 C, and the fans, under immense load stress tests can be audible (around 60-80% fan speed) & (around 40- 45% fan speed under gaming).

      @@mahmoodtahoon1335hey, I’m gonna buy this case, but don’t know, which motherboard I need. Are you using micro atx motherboard? Do you have any problems with it?

    • @markotto1767
      @markotto1767 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mahmoodtahoon1335what's your motherboard? I'd like to mount with a micro atx and and Asus tuf7900xtx, bigger than your sapphire. Do you still have other space for bigger card or you Is at ita limits ? Problema with micro atx and cable management (front panel USB , audio, fans etc..)?

    • @mahmoodtahoon1335
      @mahmoodtahoon1335 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@markotto1767 Hi Mark. My mobo is ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PLUS WiFi II. As for your GPU, it is indeed bigger than mine. I don't have the exact measurements now, as I'm away on vacation. But I can tell you that my card is barely in, and I think (but please check for yourself) that a bigger card might come in contact with the case from the mesh filter side, or even from the mobo side. Again, my card is barely in. If the Asus 7900 xtx is a few centimeters thicker, then I wouldn't recommend it.
      There is no problem whatsoever with my microatx board, not cable management, nothing. Except that my specific board doesn't have an extra header for the USB type C found on the top of the case. So that's the only port that I couldn't connect, the other front panels USBs are working.
      A final thing is, if you plan to use any SATA ports, you have to get a 90 degree cable, or else it won't fit because the sata headers are under the GPU and your cables will be cramped.

    I've been thinking of this case for a while, I have a matx motherboard and a big gpu. I wanted something a big different that the usual corsair 4000d I have at the moment. The combo of 343mm gpu and matx has made my choice of cases quite limited as I wanted something small ish but different. This sort of literal vertical gpu, seems to be a good answer.

    You are the G. O. M and the G. O. A. T in this space, Leo. I for one appreciate that Thermaltake appreciate you. I think Thermaltake are doubling down on NOT being the Thermaltake of old when half-arsed was practically their middlename. This is an M-ATX case and a pretty good one, but rather than over-selling, they'd rather err on caution. Missed a trick not launching it in BRG just for us though. I'm a bit of a sucker for British Racing Green and would have made it the only British SKU on launch; but that is just me.

    No offence Leo, the award is well deserved.
    One thing I would like to have seen in this review was if there was anyway to tidy the cables coming out of the rear io panel.

    Still, it would be nice to have something there for that.

    You can move the top fan to the outside of the case to give more room for the AIO cooler. I also recommend using the top fan as an intake due to the unremovable dust filter, and using the AIO fans as an exhaust to cut down on warm air entering the case. Plus the side filter can be removed to prevent dust building up and obstructing airflow. I did this for my Z11 case and it improved cooling by several degrees, especially for the chipset thermals. Additionally, you can install low profile fans at the rear to cool your HDDs.

    It looks far better with a Micro ATX borard inside. And I wish they did sell the green cases, as I thought they looked the best. I'd go with air cooling for simplicity sake. That they installed the top fan wrong I hope is a sign of getting a preview unit out and not what we should expect retail

      First, the 280mm cooler takes up a lot of the space in that area but second, and more importantly, this is a review of a case and Thermaltake doesn't include a fan in that position so yes there are options however they are not part of the package you buy.

    Just finished bulding my PC using this case. Yes, it will support MATX motherboards but you may have to remove some of the features of the Tower 200 to make it fit. In my case, I had to remove the GPU support bracket to get acces to my motherboard's USB3 header and SATA connections. Same reason I couldn't use the under GPU plate so I have a huge hole there. I'll have to cut that plate at some point.
    Other than that, I love this case. Incredible airflow. Looks stunning with RGB.

    To me, as soon as you're adding a high end GPU then the ITX form factor doesn't make sense anyway. The ITX form factor should be for low to midrange CPUs and quiet, tucked away DIY builds - if you want a portable fire-breather then the size of your GPU/PSU is going to mean mATX makes more sense anyway.

    Great case, looking forward to build my next PC in this case. Screen is gimmick and to expensive, you can generally put in bigger screen on empty spot under MB. Since case is so easy to work with (take apart) and no rubber parts it can be easily painted any color you wish (even with a spray can) so green ones ain`t anything special. Love the glass is only on front, makes much more sense to have perforated sides for airflow. The only thing I see as "problematic" is top connectors, but I guess longer cables from keyboard, mouse, graphic card could finally prove useful (with few zip ties) to secure them to the back of the case. Great review, and for once Great case from TT...cheers!!!

    Nice that it supports MATX, i have been looking for a compact MATX case, its a shame it looks like a 3D printer/terrarium.

    Does the Thermaltake RGB software need to auto-run on boot and be running in the background for the LCD screen to display properly, or can you set it once and forget it?

    I wish this case could fir arctic 280 with a micro board but it doesn't look like there will be clearance for the radiator.

    In all honesty, how loud does it get under load? Would you say it is quiet or is it not acceptably quiet?

    I wonder if it will fit the Micro-ATX MSI MAG B760M MORTAR MAX WIFI motherboard? In addition, it would be nice if you could install 360 AIO and a mesh front panel

    Could you air cool the CPU with a moderately sized tower cooler and install a GPU with an AIO attached?

    should've been marketed as m-ATX indeed. there's so much awkward space on the bottom if you're using a mini-ITX

    Hi, I have a Tower 100 Racing Green, I put inside a 3x BeQuiet Silent Wings 4 140 (top,down,back) 1100rpm 13.6dB , also got light wings 140 RGB x2 (bottom+top on AIO water Loop 120) for visual purpose. And it's for me not bad, quiet, but I wondering could You recommend other brand. The problem is not with sound of wings because they dead silent but the motor in my opinion is not so great. Is it maybe noctua or thermaltake do more quiet motor? or Corsair magnetic? or just only fluid only motor could be solution. Thank You superb review, hard for me to decide is it 100 odr 200 better. 200 looks like better to keep cooler temps but the side panel is a bit heavy, better looks that glass in 100 model. Thank You once again for review.

    Won't the cooling be very poor in this PC because of negative air flow? There's only 1 fan for intake (behind the case) and 3 fans for exhaust (1 on the top of the case and 2 on the side mounted radiator radiator) so there's negative pressure. How is this solved?

    Can we instal a 140 rad on top AND a 280 on the side ?

    • @KitGuruTech
      @KitGuruTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I cannot say for sure but I reckon not. The 280 fills the side and encroaches into the main chamber at top and bottom so it seems unlikely.

    i think the main reason not to use matx board is the connectors on the bottom like usb ones. they look ugly there and cables partially block gpu fans. when it's itx - connectors are near the ram and thus when installed are in the bottom of the case and do not block anything. i'll stick to itx. but thanks for review. it's the only one really helpful.

    After having followed the CTE C750 extensively and then buying and building in it, it appears that Thermaltake is really just putting cases together without actually knowing much about what they're building or what modifications it needs. Probably because they're churning out a ton of cases with only a couple months between creating the concept and releasing the product. Their documentation on the C750 is horrible and also incorrect, even after them taping corrections in the printed version that's shipped with it.
    This case isn't really going to attracting many Mini-ITX builders anyway. They're going to go buy SFF cases. This case is as it is because they wanted to fix the complaints about the Tower 100 then at some point, they thought about adding mATX, found some small issue with complying with the actual mATX size and so, backed off from advertising it as mATX but left the tooling as is. They did something similar with the C750 and 420mm custom radiators.

    This case has almost all I want in a MATX case with to me a downside is on All their tower cases which are for use on the desktop is the I/O being on Top instead of the Bottom for easy access. This case is the best out of all the tower cases 100,200,300 and 500 because it actually has proper air flow in the side panels. The Tower 300 looks nice but wish it had better sides for air flow and the same with the 500. The Tower 500 would be my case chose to Mod. for ATX to the style of the Thermaltake Divider 200 which has a lot of problems with air flow but the close size abd NEEDS to get rid of the low air flow front TTTTTTTTTT and make both sides High air flow.
