Maverick X3 misfire code fix (p0301 p0302 p0303)

If your Maverick x3 ever goes into limp mode, and throws one or more errors P0301, P0302, P0303, then this is the first thing that you should try. Per maverickforums.net and user mgrotel.

Did the limp mode clear automatically or did you need to have it reset by the dealer?

mine did the same thing....the old belt still looked pretty good but you could see just a tiny area on both sides like it had a pinched spot in it....put on the new belt....broke it in properly and no more codes or limp mode so far.....thanks for the video!

My 2020 did the same thing a week ago in the bottom of a sand bowl. I was lucky to be able to make it out in limp mode. Anyone know how to pull codes without a reader on the newer cluster? I had to have the code checked at the dealer the next day.

On mine (2014 Commander) I hold the mode button and flip the high beams on and off 3 times.
