Thank you for pointing out the adjustment knob to raise and lower the hedgehog. Mine would not lower as it usually does. I thought I had an expensive hydraulic issue. I watched your video, walked over to the tractor, turned the knob and.....it lowered!! Thanks for taking time to share your experience! Jim Simmons in Texas.
Thanks for the info. They have changed how tractor fluid is labeled. Was trying to figure out what to get. You found out what not to buy. You have saved me much headache. When you go to tractor supply or advance auto.... it's like deer in the headlight when you ask them for 134d hydraulic oil.
This looks similar to my Shibaura SD1840D. I have some leaks and added some Lucas hydraulic fluid treatment to help. Stuff is very thick. Not knowing how much to add, I put the whole jug (maybe gallon - to 1-1/2). Still had some leaks but after running it a while fluid started overflowing out around the gearshift. I added this fluid to the reservoir behind the seat so I'm wondering if they are connected in some way? I heard that my tractor is suppose to be equivalent to a Ford 1500.

I wish you had shown what to do after putting it all back together. Someone took of the main line on mine and now the bucket won't work. Is there a bleeding process for it???
Curious on the hydraulics you used. From what I've read & watched is that you need to use the 32 not the 34. Also another question is do you use hydraulic fluid or hydraulic oil? My step dad says there is a difference & should be using oil not the fluid.
Do any of these guys ever reply to comments/questions....?? I need info for 1210 Ford New Holland, think I blew a seal or something on my hydraulic pump. Anyway...just sayin
