@@nathanprovence70He talking about the one that has a flathead right below the fluid level plug I also accidentally unscrewed it and now it won’t stay in. Was wondering if you knew what was the solution 11:10
That other lever is the draft control for using underground implements. Engaging that allows your positions lever to act as a downward-force control lever. Great video. I have the 4000 in diesel, looks identical to yours.
Thanks, great descriptions. I have water in my 4000 as well, Is there a hydraulic filter especially after having water should it be changed? I've heard of using an additive to help collect/dry out the water contaminated fluid, Seafoam or "dry gas" ???
Drain the fluid and fill it with straight diesel fuel, Start the tractor up and operate your 3pt lift a few times then drain it and fill it back with the correct fluid
@@nathanprovence70 my question is isn't the dip stick the same level as the overflow plug on the side? Or are they different compartments that need to be drained separately?
I just picked up a 1970 4400, thank you for all the great information
Of course, and THANK YOU for watching
Great video, very informative. I have the 73, 4000 gas. Again great video, thanks
Good tip about raising the lift arm, makes sense
Thanks for watching, we greatly appreciate it
Can you tell me what the screw is right below the fluid level plug my son took it out and now there’s nothing to hold it back in ??
You gotta be more specific on which fluid plug
@@nathanprovence70 the hydraulic fluid level plug

I actually put an O- ring on the fill cap on the rear diff and so far so good

Where is the plug for filling hydraulic compartment? 5:27
The rear diff is the hydraulic tank believe it or not.
9:11....Snot Rocket...LMAO
Ya lol it was a really cold day out. Nose was like a faucet
What is the fluid in the bucket that you poured in
Hydrologic fluid
The dip stick by the gear shifters. Isn't that the same oil? Or is it in a different compartment so you have to check with the overfill plug?
Mine had a plug

I don't have a drain bolt like that one he points to on side of block ? Any body know another?
Maybe recessed Allen bolt???
I think you have a 3000… the air filter location is a giveaway.
Might if been. Never found any actual markings. Thanks for watching
Bizim Ford traktör ısınınca kolları kaldırmıyor çözümü nedir. Türkiye'den yazıyorum
Sounds like a lift issue, I'd plumb in a fluid cooler, like an external transmission cooler
After lifting my lift arm it won't stay in place...slowly falls back to lowest position. Any ideas?
Got a leak somewhere. Could be internal. That's usually a bad cylinder or seal on cylinder
@@nathanprovence70 ty sir!

Why is the fluid drained white but the refill brownish?
