Wow! I just finished this and to say I am blown away by what my body was able to do is an understatement! I recommend videotaping yourself doing this class so you can see your progress. I have been working on standing splits and regular splits and have been stuck. The difference in one 30 minute session is nothing short of wizardry 😊 I have also been babying a high hamstring injury but it wasn’t tweaked at all the way Cathy taught this class. I am happy dancing all over my house right now. Thank you, Cathy for these generous TH-cam sessions! 🙏 What a blessing! You, and this class, are going in the #1 slot in my gratitude list tonight ❤️
Amazing job. I thank you so much for the introduction, the thorough explanation through every pose, and the variations of the poses. Much appreciated effort.
I loved this! Thank you Cathy! Also so inspiring to hear your story - spinal surgery, not naturally flexible - and still with consistent effort you have achieved so much! Really motivational. Thanks so much! :)
Thank you so much! I just did this class in the morning and not only did I get my best standing splits, I also managed to touch down in front split on my good side at the first try - I usually need like 5 to 10 tries! Def will be doing this class more often!
Been doing this routine once a week or so for the last few months. Still have a long way to go, but I'm seeing some good results in my overall flexibility and ability to raise my legs.
Ohh I like that title! I never ever ever thought I'd be able to do this pose and now I'm constantly amazed I can even do it with little warm up now. I realize not everyone can achieve any pose, but just wanted to share that I also never thought it was possible. Much love!
When I tried the last variation, with my shoulder tucked under my knee, I couldn't get my shoulder really under there- I guess this position is similar to lizard and happy baby- would getting deeper in those positions help? Thanks!
Great video! I'm really sorry but I have sound sensitivity and I find your mic SO distracting. Is it necessary to use a mic? I can hear it every time you swallow and every breath you take.
@@user-su6zt2of2pI don’t want to speak for them but it seems more like they’re asking if the mic itself is necessary vs the need to talk. Maybe she could do it without the mic. I don’t have sensitivity but I agree it is distracting

Wow thank you so much Leslie! I'm so happy you saw progress so quickly and even better that it didn't bother your hamstring.
Oh yes, I am adding this to my rotation 😊
this is a favorite video of mine, i return often, thank you so much!

I appreciate your feedback so much thanks for watching and practicing with me!
I literally felt a rush of circulation in my body from this extra effort in flexibility. Thank you!
I love this routine. It's already made a huge difference
Thank you so much! Definitely gave me ideas on poses to focus on through my journey!

Thank you so much!!
Hope you’re well, love your flows as well! I
Would love to see a hands free class for sore wrists or similar from you- you’re a fantastic teacher ! 😊
Thank you for this video. This workout really created more flexibility for my tight hips and shoulders.
Excited to learn from this channel!
Thanks so much!! Let me know if you have any requests 🙌🏼🫶🏽
@@CathyMadeoYoga I will 🥰

enjoyed this a lot thanks so much!
Thanks so much for the feedback!
Not sure my standing leg split will ever look like that :) I like to call it standing leg raise when I teach, but this was a fun flow!

Wowww!!
I enjoyed the video. I also practice basti kriya or yogic enemas for flexibility, detoxing, fitness, health, wellness.
Thank you for watching and sharing your practice🙏🏼🙌🏼
@@CathyMadeoYoga You are welcomed. I started doing yogic enemas and yoga when I was 13 years old in 1995.
This is hard lol but it's effective. Only done it 4 times, and I already see/feel a difference.
Thank you for the feedback! It is one of my harder classes but happy you’re seeing some results👍🏼🙌🏼
OMG! 😮😮😮😮❤👍

It's definitely a deep variation. Yes those psoes will help! Also binds like bound warrior, bird of paradise and compose pose!
Thanks so much! I'd love to see a video that includes those poses! Thanks again Cathy! These videos are so great.
Is it normal that when I try to put my legs straight on every pose, they tremble??
Great video! I'm really sorry but I have sound sensitivity and I find your mic SO distracting. Is it necessary to use a mic? I can hear it every time you swallow and every breath you take.
Hearing the directions and breathing is an important aspect of yoga practice. Most people want and need that. I would suggest you to mute your volume
